Why make 2 parts to each half of the macaron shell? Wpuldmt it be easier to just make 1, with the (HDC SS)x18 on the edge?

What thread do you use to sew the wings on? The long string I left at the end "for sewing" got used up for sewing the wing pieces together, but now there's no string left to actually sew the wing to the body. And even if it was long enough, the tail is sticking out in the middle of the wing, not where it should be sewn. Should I tie a new string to the wing base and use that to attach it to the body?

When you say increase do you do the stitches and then increase then go back to the stitches or do you do the single stitches and then increase in all?
