add a rotary block to your existing preset, i keep a solid lead overdrive on with the rotary. im still experimenting with different sounds, but right now I have it after my delays and before reverbs.

I download patches from worship tutorials and tweak them to my personal liking. I mainly use AC30 patches by them and for this song I added a rotary to the lead snapshot and that’s how i got the praise sound.

I used a Line 6 Helix for the effects and amp. First verse (swells) heavy wet reverb, higher gain on the amp and overdrive. Also increase the dotted 1/8 delay in the mix. Chorus (the main Praise part) I used a rotary, but a tremolo or a vibrato is fine to use as well and lower the reverb significantly for the rest of the song. Second verse and bridge kept the overdrive, cut the rotary and turned on chorus. For the lead tone turn up the drive on the amp and cut chorus and rotary. Delays I used a 1/4 and a dotted 1/8th, the dotted 1/8th being much higher in the mix. Amp: Vox AC 30. More details about recording equipment in the description.
