First of all Joe Biden has nothing to do with the price fuel companies are charging. Educate yourself on Opec and the fuel industry and how REPUBLICAN ran companies are raising fuel cost with major profits. The only thing a president can do is opening the stock supply of fuel that the US has. I hate to see people blame the wrong people for what is going on. Also while you are educating yourself google ALEC and see the companies that are dictating how laws and prices are being set. Ronald Reagan sent all of the manufacturing overseas when he was president in 1984 and we have been suffering ever since. And since you don't know anything Biden is bringing manufacturing back the the US... they are building plants know and we will not feel the effect for at least another 3 yrs. If Trump gets in office he will miss up the economy just like he did after Obama had us in a better financial situation. Stop blaming and read!

I see many comments complaining about the cost of operating a company. You can't compete with the mega carriers . I've been in the game since 94'. Freight goes up and down. I'm always asked would i like to own my own truck. No, it sounds good to say "hey I'm a Owner Operator" but does it make sense? It's too much headache for the reward from it. I've worked for Roadway Express who was bought out by Yellow. That company has been on its way out since we took the first concession 15 years ago. It was bad management that caused Yellow to go out. Many people where happy with all of the freight when Covid hit. Everybody was buying trucks. People that had no business, no CDL's were buying trucks and getting into the business. Everybody was happy when Biden was giving out all of that PPP/ Stimulus money. No president sets the price of fuel. Inflation is a by product from Covid and all of the free money that was giving to people. What's happening now ? People that made bad decisions when everything was good overspent and now your paying for bad financial decisions. Everybody knows that the truck load business is the worst freight in trucking. If Trump gets voted in it's going to be the same ole song and dance. Owning a hand Full of trucks doesn't gaurantee you success.

We don’t make anything in this country anymore. All we do is hold others stuff in endless warehouses. But what about when you have only a fraction of stuff coming in? Nothing to store/ship.

I have been doing expedite stuff for 12 years as a contractor. Here is the problem, our manufacturing is gone now. The USA does not make anything but a few places assemble stuff with imported parts. The few places left are moving like John Deer. As demand continues to drop there will be less freight and places will continue to close or leave the states. Even Timken in Gaffney, SC closed up where I used to pick up bearings made with imported low quality metal. To further destroy anything left in the states millions of people are flooding in taking the few jobs that are left. It does not look good.

It's too many regulations in trucking also i left to do welding. Minor traffic violations can fuk you're career up i can't live that way.

I loved going on the road with my husband. Moving the goods of my fellow Americans in our soon to own truck. Then boom biden arrived and we could not afford the truck, maintenance and defiantly not diesal. The diesal would eat up the profit on almost ever load. After factori g tools, diesal, and paying yourself we could not break even. Now we just hope next term comes with better rules on all these brokers, truck stops and anyone who has been at fault for our demise!

These mega carriers are over inflating the market with way too many drivers. I ca. drive a manual but automatic trucks is part of the reason. Trucking is getting way too easy for just anybody to do it

Even doe Creepy Biden had introduce a 1994 Crime Act, that had mass numbers of Black & Brown Americans in Prison, his voters/ supporters voted him into office. Most of Creepy Biden's voters/ supporters aren't able to overcome the " Stockholm Syndrome"; therefore, not surprise if they vote for him once again, just to see us all down even more.
