What was the first problem before the other problem? If you are that worried about velen, the hunter can run starfish over another in the ETC. Pretty sure seedlock beats velen over the top with mass productions and damage over the top. The velen combo is kinda dumb in a "if you don't have an answer" kind of way, but there are *SO* many answers in the format.

I just played like 5-6 games end of the month. It's very funny you asked because I just edited that section. Best advice I have is don't crystalizer too early, it delays your flesh giants alot. You toss the quest in some match ups (like combo druids). Maxiebon1234 has played it alot in the past, idk if he still plays it regularly.

Is there a "good" reno priest? No. To be really blunt, highlander priest has been overplayed and overhyped for ages. The Chinese community always *felt* it was a deck with no true weaknesses while also being able to win almost any mu. In reality, reno priest is strong into hostage mage (debatable) and that's about it. At low mmrs people play pet-deck reno piles. Renathal and highlander cards cover for a ton of bad deck building, essentially you can pick a class, find a class specific highrolls, add the good yellow cards and some clears and you have a tier 3 deck. I don't have a fundamental problem with this, but that's how it is. If you want to play the modern "reno priest", most reno priest players have swapped over to reno paladin. It's "I win" is very strong in holy wrath (even the uther version is good, you can probably play a list that has both too) and there is enough flex you can run pet cards. Reno Druid or Mage are also close behind. Tldr: HL priest is mid, Pally is the hotness, mage and druid are for the real hipsters.

ALL THAT BEING SAID, modern Reno priests are getting low and lower on curve. You could try a list that looks like this with amathul as top end. NOPE! But I dont trust them as much as the first 5 decks. Hooktusk has felt like "boat or die" to me but my buddy anchorman played it up to top 40 on EU. QLDH, the fatigue version, doesn't like aggro priest very much so I don't usually feature it, I keep an eye on prospective 10x meta since that's what most people who watch me I assume experience. QLDH is very strong in a slower meta pocket. The XL Lifesteal version is also a fine option, and better into aggro, but can brick and feels like it's 49-51% into everything.

If you look at the etc, there is a Kobold Monk to try and annoy reno holy wrath paladin. I think that match up is rough. I think the combo druid match ups are rough. Everything else should be fine. You don't have to race through the quest to beat slower more control oriented decks, and in the past it's been a control killer.

If you end up hard stuck again, try it out, I was impressed when I played a couple games of it end of last month pushing for 11x.

I don't believe in it but it's cute, especially if you highroll pairing it with imployee! I worry that combo isn't too consistent WITH minions to spam in the xl list but I don't think its trash either.

I swear it wins games sometimes, I have proof! Heavensdoor and other people have tried the deck and enjoyed it! Its not good enough for me to recommend the dust though unless people like crt dk.

Arcane Gaint, nature studies, innervate, sing a long buddy<- is very very spicey and on a short list to try, piper to draw cats... You have a lot of reasonable options.

Infinitely scaling hp is fine. I usually find I'd rather freeze a board forever instead of clear it. I bet the next month's climb *with* a bonus might be a little more challenging, matching you up with proper opponents instead of smurfing 😈 (but your list should still work fine).

@SchmoopydadyHS 90% of times i win by board locking my opponent and stacking hero power to the sky. Light show its something that, sometimes, will kill his board and leave it open to play strong battlecry minions. Freeze and hero power its my way to go

Flurry rank 1 Lightshow Potion of Illusion Flurry can be another card, it almost never gets picked but I like it best.

Honestly it's kinda a race, get Rom on line looping, and as soon as you are happy with him, always have too many cards in hand so that you never draw the tnts.
