Is that what u use to get the horse in place? Or to instruct the horse? (I dont know any think about horses)
It's a whip it's used as an extented arm if a horses doesn't listen you sofely tap them with it so they focus and listen again horses also move away from pressure which is what is demonstrated in this video

No. This is one of my riding horses. But I did do ATFO and had the mustang doing the same trick

love this it's so gentle and you can see hoe calm the horse is when you tapped it to give it the treat I thought it was going to all go wrong but as soon as the horse saw it was a treat you could see it getting calmer in its eyes. 💕

No he didn't?
If he was angry you would know, that is a calm expression. That horse's ears would be straight back, but see how they're slightly angled to the side? He's calm and has probably been trained with the whip(which didn't hurt him I promise) and the riding block and he knew what was about to happen when she slipped onto his back. That's a very well behaved and trained horse.
