New Year's Eve in Telluride
Another year has passed, and for New Year's in 2024, I decided to leave the Front Range for a few days and head out to the Western Slope down into the San Juans and celebrate the New Year's in Telluride.

Tin Cup Traveler Year in Review
Переглядів 35День тому
Another year has passed, and with another year gone comes a brand-new year. But before 2025 begins, it’s time to look back at my adventures that I did by myself, and just a few extra people. Let’s recap the 2024 Year of Tin Cup Traveler.
Upper Chessman Canyon Trail

Back in August of 2024, my hiking friend and I decided to do this beautiful hike around Chessman Lake. Take a look at the sheer beauty this little hiking spot had to offer. AllTrails: www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/upper-cheesman-canyon-trail?u=i&sh=zn6efh
Hiking the Royal Arch with the Hiking Group
Переглядів 5121 день тому
I embarked on my second adventure on the Royal Arch Trail in Boulder, and I must say, it was a significantly easier experience compared to my first attempt. During my initial hike, I had joined a small group of four hikers. Now, I invite you to join me and a few other hiking companions on our journey to the iconic Royal Arch.

Easy Hike Along the Waterton Canyon Trail
Переглядів 61Місяць тому
The trail that connects to the Colorado Trail is quite easy and straightforward. Along the path, we spotted numerous bighorn sheep. After several inches of snowfall in the foothills, we decided to take this pleasant and uncomplicated hike, which prevented the group from embarking on hikes in Estes Park. Next, we headed to southern Littleton, Colorado, for a hike along the Waterton Canyon Trail.
Hiking to the Summit of Pikes Peak
Переглядів 833 місяці тому
Back in 2022, on the second day of my attempt to conquer Pikes Peak, I fell short, coming within a mere 2 miles of the summit. Fast forwarding approximately two years, I made another attempt on Day 2 to reach the summit, and this time, I succeeded. However, some of the challenges I faced on my previous attempt resurfaced. Despite these setbacks, I am thrilled to finally announce that I have suc...
My Return to the Barr Trail
Переглядів 283 місяці тому
Back in October 2022, I embarked on my first attempt to conquer the Barr Trail and reach the summit of Pikes Peak. At that time, it was my inaugural 14er, and I was utterly clueless about what to expect. A whirlwind of events unfolded within a single day, from waking up from work to the grueling 5 1/2-hour drive from Grand Junction to Maintou Springs, and of course, the daunting elevation gain....
Decaliborn Trail - Colorado's Quad 14ers
Переглядів 223 місяці тому
The first time I hiked not one, not two, not three, but "four" 14ers in one day. Welcome to the Decalibron Hike, where you tackle these "Four" 14ers in one trail. Yes, you may have noticed that I put the word "four" in quotes. That is because while you can reach the summit of Bross, it is technically off-limits to hikers. So put on your gloves, hat, and warm hiking gear and tag along with me an...
Hiking Grays and Torrey's with Two Co-Workers
Переглядів 383 місяці тому
This is one of the first hikes I did with some of my co-workers since starting my new job along the Front Range. We decided to tackle not one but two 14ers, Grays & Torrey's. The hike was amazing, though I was struggling after hiking 11 miles the previous day with my hiking group.
Hiking to the Skaguay Abandoned Power Plant

It's another Hiking with Friends in Colorado with a new introduction and hike for most of us. Nestled deep in the forest just southwest of Victor lies an Abandoned Power Plant that requires seven water crossings, some bouldering, and going through some dense forest. Join us as we trek to the Skaguay abandoned haunted power plant.
Hiking to the Summit of Mount Blue Sky
Переглядів 214 місяці тому
I have always wanted to do this hike, and I finally got to conquer it before they shut down the highway for over a year for road repairs, beginning on September 3, 2024, and won't reopen until Memorial Day 2026. From crazy wind chills to windy conditions and getting lost a few times, the journey to the summit was an experience. On top of that, I met some fantastic people along the way. The hiki...

I was definitely tired since I had to work late the previous night. But wait until the Cripple Creek vlogs. I am fully awake for those.
Would be your luck to get back from the hike and have a traffic jam!🙃 Happy hiking buddy!
Not what I was expecting. Probably should have checked the red rocks schedule ahead of time haha
