Descending from blue skies down into grey overcast is not the most welcome experience in aviation, but it was a nice approach nonetheless. Philadelphia has opportunity for a unique approach when landing west with views of a third parallel runway and the city. On this approach, however, ship yards were in sight for nearly the entire approach.
