How? It takes two different programs to operate. On a MAF car, ECMlink is as easy as moving sliders around, if you dont know much more than that. I know a lot of people who use/have used a blackbox and none of them has said it's user friendly

Never did a thread, but I can do a video going over it at some point. Main tips I would have are to start with a a complete 4g64 stock shortblock and a complete 4g63 longblock if possible. If you had to try to get every little part you needed individually it'd be pretty hard. The 4g64 oil pump in particular is needed, you can slightly grind the 4g63 water pump to fit but that isnt difficult at all. Also make sure your exhaust accounts for the head sitting higher in the car, I did not at first and the exhaust didnt fit properly and eventually ripped my o2 housing in half. I just took a spare flange and welded it onto the downpipe flange to space it out.

@@autotalon I wanted to ask you about that pause when the car is starting, I couldnt really understand what you said it caused it, my car started doing that after a turbo project but I did move a lot of wiring etc. so just tryna see what it could be. It happens once or twice in a week

@@markocikaric5677 Mine is just the car having more engine than the starter was intended for, the wiring to the starter on the Eclipse is all new (power, ground, and solenoid). It has done this since the 2.4 swap 7 years ago and has been fine. If yours suddenly started, check the main power wire. Mine had a bad crimp on the battery end once that would cause occasional no cranks.

Oh believe me I know all about the door handles, I actually made a video that the footage didnt end up being good for door handle replacement/shimming. The passenger side handle is broke on this car though, so I got another one coming soon. The model year differences in DSMs are interesting, Like how the 95/96 has the 3 position AC switch and the coolant level light in the cluster.

@@rayachat1259 Ended up being splines on the output shaft, so the entirety of the car's drive was just splines skipping on the shaft. It was because the transmission that came in the car was a JDM transmission with a 1% difference in front final drive vs rear. Switched to a matched 95 transmission/transfer case to solve the issue (kept the old internals for spare parts)

Just asking because I'm about to throw one on a auto dsm also and are you running a shifter box?

On this video it was only 21psi (wastegate pressure), here's the last dyno pull, which was a 30. ua-cam.com/video/YTpH1MQgs2Y/v-deo.html I have a shift box but it isnt installed yet, Have a Translab shift kit and a small bit of valve body modding.

Pull the transfer case and check your output shaft, it's probably fucked. I still dont know exactly what it is, my output shaft was junk, everything before the transfer gear was fine, and the transfer gear itself looked OK. So it seems to be in that back area. I'll tear that transmission down more someday.

@@autotalon how could it be the output shaft if you are just revving while stationary? I have this same noise

@@291715 It wasnt the shaft, but something between the transfer gears and the output. With park engaged, the car could still roll, meaning the gear stack was no longer being held by that drum. I kept the good parts of that trans and threw the rest away.

Yeah I remember that in old versions of i think Sapphire Trixx? I had to use that to increase voltage on one of my AMD cards.
