pure clickbait, its just my local friendly badger eating peanuts
Great shot at a remarkable piece of railroad., fine video.
Crap music, not relevant to the video at all...
Been there years ago...82 arches....
what a slum. yet another housing estate in place of glorious afchitecture, i sateyed in the francis dixon lodge but i believe this has also been pulled down, even though it was a listed building, as leicester has no idea of culture or heritage, unless of course you are a foreigner, the amount of wailing willy temoples that have been built in leicester is an absolute disgrace,.....be interesting to know if they stick to the 7.00am curfew on noise that the rest of society has to
素敵な景色で旅行に行きたくなります💕
Stationed here 76 - 78,on the piss in Bingham, remember it well,it's good to see it's still there and not been levelled like a lot of bases.
I lived in the White Swan as a kid in the mid to late 1970s
The Midland rly were determined to get their own route into London !!
In 1948 It was the home of 58 MU and one end of the airfield there was a dump of crashed/scrapped aircraft. Among the fuselages there was one for the aficionados - a Caproni-Campini CC2, which leaves only one in existence, in Italy.
It was the home of the RAF Police Training school when I was there in 1981. Great memories. Thanks for this. Good aerial shots.
what a fantastic video, iv been here over 15 times and this view is amazing
Do you know if there is any building's are left or are they all gone.
Thanks for this, quite emotional for me. Both of my parents worked here. Were it not for Corah I would not live in the midlands and would not know any of the friends I have, nor would have met my wife!
Is it still there? Looks like it’s worth salvaging. Great music by the way.
Once my London train to London ftom Leicester took a scenic detour to Kettering via Oakham and Corby. The view from the viaduct of all that is magnificent about our countryside brought tears to my eyes. Everyone else was grumbling. I thanked the ticket collector for the lovely journey and she nearly fell over. People don't see the glory right in front of their spoilt, sniffy noses.
Good footage, shame about the jerky unedited poor quality. Watch some cinematic video!
Love the footage Matt
Good flying, shame about the Music!!
Glad I left that shithole in 2003
its in Norfolk by the way
No it's not. There is a Rougham in Norfolk, but this is Rougham in Suffolk. A few mile east of Bury St Edmunds. Great footage BTW.
Definitely Suffolk. My direct ancestors built and lived in it until the late 1890's.
Very beautiful in its day. So glad it has been saved, as at one point it was heading for demolition. Beryl Stanhope Le Poer Trench was the aunt of a friend.
This music perfectly suits footage of classical architecture. GREAT call.
super looking slave, thanks for sharing
Thanks for posting. A once Great British Corporation, providing the country with quality footwear. Now sadly no more, due to cheap imports. As a lad I worked at Lilley & Skinners in Romford in the mid 1970's.
I used to fish under that in the early 1970's, hadn't realised it was still open to rail traffic, cool vid
. . . . but no trains shown!
I lived in the pub in the 1970s
Used to fly Chipmunks from there with 209 Sqn
Could I Use This For One Of My Videos?
Slick.
Made from 30 million bricks,mostly blue engineer's.
I wonder if anyone has counted the bricks in this structure.
30 million
@@GahMehGrrrr Thanks.
Did amazon send you another one?
Not a dramatic addition to the history of the airfield, but the Cambridge University Air Squadron (CUAS) held their Summer Camp there in 1958. As the record shows, 'Newton' was a training station for airmen who (if I remember correctly) acquired the status of E Fit (GW).
Great! I love this kind of video
Cool video 👍 I Subbed your channel 👍👍
Very beautiful airfield
Would be interested to use some of this footage if at all possible?
Knightsbridge Estate Agents Yeah help yourself just give me a credit for it.
Thank you! - Of course we will.
You getting a new one Matt ?
Did you use a drone for this?
nice video
Wow!!! Amazing footage. My family were the Bennet family and my great grandad was born here. Thanks for posting this! I visited 2 years ago.
Sweet drone flying Matt :) cheers for the subscribe!
Would be good to fly the drone over Bruntingthorpe when there's a track day on!
Over flying roads.
Gah, I love cool old buildings like that. Don't see that much beauty these days anymore ... :(
