    I have a 2013 legend 2 burner with original burners. after 11 years I decided it was time to change out burners. Much to my surprise only one seemed to be damaged but did the change out anyway. At the same time gave it a through cleaning and the Grill work jus like the day I purchased it. Bought the burners directly from Napoleon and the sear plats came with the burners. For 100$ I got a new Grill. Your video made it look very simple and I followed your instructions. Screws were a little rusted but worked fine. By the way Napoleon included new screws with the purchase. Awsome service very pleased. Canada.

    Here’s an important tip - if you are removing an older Pella crank because it is broken please note that they are basically unrepairable and are very difficult to find. So first step is to find the proper replacement part including whether you are looking for a left side or right side (when facing the house). One can run $200+ - $300+! eBay has used parts for about $100 and up. Don’t tear your sash apart until you are ready to rep,ace.

    Welcome to 2024!! First small snowfall here in the Mid Atlantic in really almost two years and you guessed it, the snow blower would not start. Ran it a couple months back but not when I needed it. Followed the basic rules, checked for spark and also if the plug was wet with fuel which it was but still No fire, at all. Gave it a shot of carburetor cleaner then stuck the plug back in and she fired right up for a second or two. Drained the old fuel out and replace it with fresh fuel and she started within a second or two. Oh thank heaven!!! Thanks for the information!!!!!

    Ok novice here. I filled tank with gas a few days ago, tried to start didn't start. Put a new spark plug in, didn't start. Can I follow your instructions if there is a full tank of gas or will all the gas need to be drained first?

    • @Mr.Fix_RC
      @Mr.Fix_RC 7 місяців тому

      Yes but check to see if you have a gas line shut off first. If not then just be careful as it won’t stop draining until you plug it up and could get messy. You could always drain a bit into a container and then switch it to the jerry can to drain the tank completely……make sure your can gas room. Good luck and thanks for watching.

      I have sprayed brake cleaner directly in the carb to see if it runs. If it starts and shuts off right away then it is a fuel delivery problem.

    Don't use premium gas. High test gas has the same and sometimes MORE ethanol than regular. It's the ethanol that gums up. The key is not to use high test - but rather a gas with detergent. Better yet, use gas with NO ethanol. You can buy it at the box stores in gallon and liter sizes. I use regular gas during the season, but on the last fuel up of the season before storing (whether it is my lawn mower or snow blowers) , I fill it with ethanol FREE gas and let it run for a while to get through the system. Then when it is stored - no matter for how long - there will be no gum up and clogging problems with the carb.

    Premium fuel still has at least 10% ethanol. What premium has that helps small engine carburetors is more detergents to help clean fuel systems. Small 4 cycle engines are relatively low compression and don't need the slower burn of 91 octane that high compression engines need. Using Sea Foam with E10 fuel is a good idea. An even better idea is to use non ethanol fuel if available in your area. I use 89 octane non ethanol fuel along with Sea Foam and never have carburetor problems. Ethanol absorbs moisture and that is what causes carburetor issues.
