Hi in this case we recomend network storage. We support our EVS solutions and in this case there are limits of EVS device www.dahuasecurity.com/products/All-products/Storage/IP-Storage/EVS-Series so no proble up to 48 HDD per device

in our Maintenance center in DSS client you can see how many percent of your RAM is used

we recomend to have 16GB RAM on DSS7016 if you are running anything above 8.2. Also on the PC client we recomend minimum 8GB of RAM, ideally 16GB of the RAM especially while using AcuPick

I guess you have DSS7016 S1 ..... not S2. If you do not have S2 you are not eligible for upgrade

yes you can but I do not have such a old HW. Last 4 years all of them where shipped with 8GB of RAM. Recomended now is 16

no it does not support all the things together .... If you go to menu by turning on Acupick you trun off all the other features. If you want to use all the features at the same time you need to use more powerful NVR .... for example IVSS7xxx -Mx

hi caddy is optimazed for 3.5"HDD so you need to add holder for HDD.

@DahuaDSSPro thanks for responding Yes we can use an enclosure of 3.5 inch to hold the SSD of 2.5 inch We intend to use SSD as the OS disk for high speed and lag free experience.

If you have problem with creating backup you should contact our tech support. This should be smoth proces with creating backup. Also please check if the backup is not created automatically. So go to "Restore" section and try to download backup from there. If creating manual backup I recomend to use Flash drive if you are not admin user on the computer. Windows might have some restrictions

Hi with Ajax we did that through their wireless digital input which was connected to Dahua device and from that you can create soft trigger. With Satel our partner did it via HTTP command and again through soft trigger. So this is more question to the other party how we can arm or disarm their system if they have possivility to do it through some hardware of if they have API with HTTP or CGI commands for arming and disarming

I recomend to buy additional 7016 now . In the feature we want to make such a possibility that 7016 will be main servere and 7116 will be sub server. Of course they need to be on same version so 8.5 or 8.6

It is almost the same, features which will not be included are for example AR since this require extra license and this is not possible to buy for 7016. Also alarm system, only Dahua Alarm system is possible to connect to 7016. SIA protocol is not supported in 7016.

Hi only DSS PRO supports IP speakers

this is the feature of DSS Pro or DSS express . So if you want to do this with your XVR you need to connect to DSS and than you can perform such a search. Directly on XVR this is not possible

Hi, additional license is needed only if you want to make redundancy for main server. For sub server you do not need any additional license
