Does everyone with an Ice plunge not have a bathtub? I've looked into building an outdoor one but it's to go beside the sauna.

Good grief, starting at 55 degrees is fun enough

I bought a chest freezer for $500 with a five year warranty, marine calk for $12, Inkbird WiFi ITC-308 Digital... temperature controller, now I fill it up set it to 45° and it’s always set at 45°. It’s in my garage. It’s so sweet, it cost about $600 altogether and it’s basically like a $4000 system or more. You could make it about a $480 system without the five-year warranty but I figured what the hell for 120 bucks I’ll make sure it lasts me five years.

This is awesome, thx so much. How did it hold up over time? Did you keep using the water bottles of ice (do they hold up being frozen and melted over and over)?

Hi Nick, love the video do you add any chemicals to keep the water clear so you don't have to change the water a lot?

Cool art, but price point is still too high, that's why there's not a whole lot of reviews.

I have industrial ice packs , they use them to ship orders overnight through Mail service . They lay flat in my freezer .

I just bought the 100 gal rubermaid stock tank and like it. It`s 25" high so that`s good and allowed me to get it through a doorway into my screened in porch. Note the drain plug is a plastic pipe with internal threads and external threads which allows for two size hoses. The internal is 1 1/4 and the external seems to be 2 inch pipe thread not 1 1/2. You can always reduce to 3/4 and use a garden hose. That just takes longer to drain. About 15 minutes if you need to drain the water away from the tank.

I found using a half dozen 32 oz Walmart seltzer bottles work. I cut the top quarter off so when dump in they come out like big ice cubes. Leaving in sealed bottle the ice insulates not giving full cold affect. When done full my open top bottles and into freezer. Those couple extra degrees cold I get makes a difference.

Yea lots of company’s are charging like $1500 for a plastic barrel . It’s wild ahaha , just do this or get a lined metal drum . All you need is something to get cold in . The plastic drums are like $100 - $150 brand new , and they hold around 800 lbs of liquid . Cheers 🔥
