In an interview from Jamie Lee for Halloween 2018, she described the first movie as having Michael fall in love with Jamie after seeing her because she was different from the others and it was a twisted love story. So I’m the latest timeline we have this works. Just not in the H20 where Laurie and Michael are siblings. I honestly like both versions where they aren’t related and it’s a twisted love story and where they are siblings and at the end Laurie has a little moment that she shares a good moment reaching to her brother but then remembers who he is and what he’s done and kills him. (I say that since the origin plan that Jamie wanted for H20 was to truly kill Michael)
