Runner Diver2 Waterproof Bone Conduction Headphones Review
My impressions of the Nank Runner Diver2 Pro over the course of a few weeks. I used them for running, walks, as a passenger in a car, and even swimming in a public pool to test the water resistance.

Carrying A Multitool Changed How I Saw My Knives | LM Arc & EDC Talk

This is my experience as a long time pocket knife fan as I began carrying a multitool in the pocket instead for probably 6 months. Sudden Fallout 4 Weird Menu Lag, Workarounds, & Discussion

The M4 iPad Pro Hype: Use Cases & Discussion

The Pros & Cons of the Sigma MC-11 Adapter (Canon EF to Sony E)
i use them with zen dac v 3 amazing for gaming i use them only for gaming but music also
actually there is. like DDHIFI brand
Id like 300 and 600 grit. And a long conic sharpener for serrations. To be fair id go with Victorinox diamond and ceramic files and the said conic diamond sharpener (it looks like a pen). My main is WorkSharp Precision Adjust with premium files.
I don’t see a point in this the field sharpener isn’t much bigger than this and has an additional diamond plate and strop.
I have been carrying Leatherman multitools since they first came out. The Wave or Charge+ just feel right to me and the Free series seems flimsy and gimmicky. Like you said, it depends on what you are used to.
For anyone interested, I weighed mine & it’s exactly 2.0 ounces (before I added a leather strop). And yes, it’s a web exclusive, only available at Work Sharp’s website. I glued a 2mm thick leather strop to the side without the pocket clip.
What is the large fixed blade?
@@GayBladez It's the Flissa 9-inch. It's on Amazon for $25 and it has D2 steel. If you're interested, I talked more in depth about it and another knife in this video: ua-cam.com/video/h8EqKyfu9Q4/v-deo.htmlsi=0ruBQw-hH_XSgfds
Cool concept but I think the original is about the same size with more options.
@@Mike_Y. Fair enough and I appreciate that perspective. I've not used the original yet myself so that's good to know. Maybe I'll grab that one also. 👌🏻
@Digimorphosis it's on Amazon for about 35 bucks. Even has a function to sharpen fish hooks and serrated blades. Built in strop
That is why I carry the Sog Power pint.
It's not a leatherman tho
@@tonymaciel7687 Leathermans are way over rated.
I’ve carried a multitool for 30+ years now. I worked at a water treatment company in the field and we would do minor repairs. I carried a Leatherman PST and Buck 112 on my belt. I primarily used the Leatherman for the flat head screwdriver. I liked it better than a Victorinox because I felt I could torque on it harder. It often saved me from having to walk back to my truck just to get a screwdriver. I’m retired now and primarily carry a Leatherman P2. I considered getting an Arc. The MagnaCut blade is nice. But I think it’s overkill for such a small blade. The only tool in the Arc toolset that I wish the P2 had would be the diamond file. It works better filing one’s nails.
Started off with pocket knives and then progressed to Leathermans but IMO they are very bulky. I found myself rarely using the pliers so then I started carrying a Victorinox Pioneer, Climber, or Tinker. I added a Knipex Cobra for the rare occasions that I did need pliers and the combo is much lighter than a Leatherman. I now keep the Knipex in a backpack and keep the Vic on me for the weekends but for work now I carry a Civivi Mandate (like if a utility knife and a kiridashi had a baby) perfect for most of the warehouse work I do, and a smallish slip joint on my belt for cutting fruit. I keep a Leatherman Squirt PS4 at my computer should the need arise, and this has worked for me for the past 3 years.
@@mourningcrows Yeah there's definitely more weight in the pocket than with some of my folders. I use the pliers fairly frequently so a part of me is reluctant to go SAK because I feel like I'd miss the pliers, but maybe I'd be surprised. I do have the Knipex also -- usually in a backpack.
I think I’m gonna get me one of these as a bday gift to myself.. it’s been a lil longer than a decade since I’ve owned a multi tool n they were always my go to when in the scouts
DMT mini stones and the tan stone. much better.
Would be very interested in hearing your thoughts after carrying a victorinox
I wear my leatherman on my belt and carry a knife in my pocket. I always have at least three blades on me.
3:06 - Isnt this the thing that makes people tilt? As in, connecting powered headphones into an amplifier?
@@kvernesdotten You certainly don't need an amplifier for these, but you can keep the input volume moderate on the amp and then adjust via APM from there. In this case, the advantage of the G6 was the high end DAC it also has that sounds much better than basically anything else I plugged these into via cord. I guess I say that to say, if some people want to get upset over some theoretical issue they think that causes, that's their prerogative. But in terms of actual practical usage, it cases no issues and because of the DAC does provide a sound improvement over bluetooth. For me, I take actual experience over hypotheticals any day FWIW.
@@Digimorphosis Haha I have done this myself tbh, but ive seen a couple of streamers doing this same thing because BT is way too laggy to play games with, and are being told that it will overload the circuits, pump power the wrong way through the integrated amps and probably explode, set your goldfish on fire and start WW3. Personally I stopped doing this, but thats just because all the wireless headphones ive tried either sounds alot worse through it, or needs to be powered on to function with an aux connection to begin with so all the processing and amplification will be done by the headphone regardless. I do recall seeing a warning on some headphones, I cant remember which one but might have been the Audeze Maxwells? Anyway it said to only use it wireless or through a USB cable, but didnt spesify why. Iunno it still has not broken anything so at this point its just funny to me. I do like the perspective of this video though ^^
@@kvernesdotten Gotcha. Yeah I suppose I could see where maybe the power mismatch between devices would be wonky. In my case at the moment I don't have any other dedicated DACs, so in order to get the great DAC of my G6 there was no avoiding also using its amp. The 2-in-1 is really handy most of the time, but maybe not ideal here. Luckily, I rarely use my APM with cord and if I do need a corded headphone, I have better sounding headphones than the APM that I use with the G6 instead -- and ones that want the amplification. 🙂 Appreciate your comments and for watching!
Huge fan of multitools but I never really managed to leave the pocket knife because multitool knives tend to be really bad. The Arc would be super interesting to me for that reason, alot of us have been asking for this for many many years and all we really got was the S30V on the Charge, which not only is a tool I dont really want to carry but LM absolutely butchered the heat treat on those to the point where im convinced that company alone is responsible for people thinking S30V is a "meh" steel at this point. Sadly, where I live the Arc is very difficult to get under 450 dollars, and I just find that incredibly hard to justify. Especially since I have so many other multitools. If it comes down to a more sensible price I will be picking one up though, it does seem like the most "complete" edc package ive seen so far.
I'm sure you could glue a piece of leather to the side without the clip and have a strop on a tool that otherwise wouldnt have one. without adding any real size.
@@MechanicallyMusical Good idea!
I was thinking the same thing, but instead of gluing leather straight to it, how about shaping a thin piece of wood or just the leather itself in a way where it can sit in the middle between the stones for storage, then taken out for access to either stone and put back in between the angle guides on top of a stone for actual stropping? One of my only gripes with the Fallkniven DC4 is that the leather for stropping is on the outside and as it rubs around in a pocket/backpack any compound i put on tends to rub off. ...I need to get my hands on one of these now!
I did that to the side of my WS pocket sharpener. Makes a very usable tool better.
@@aaronb7800 Awesome -- appreciate the feedback from you all here. I might give that a try myself!
Very cool video. I haven't had a leatherman in years but I do miss it sometimes. Gave you a sub!
@@Tarheelsteel Thanks for the sub and the kind words! Out of curiosity, what made you stop carrying a Leatherman?
@Digimorphosis honestly I stopped working HVAC and started working in an office. Plus, I kind of fell in love with Victorinox and typically carry one along with one or two other knives. I'm definitely a collector and rotating my carry is part of the fun for me.
I know multiple folks who have gone through exactly what you are talking about after I talked them into getting the arc. I’ve carried Leathermans for 25 years now. Then the p4 came out and I loved it. But I wanted some changes including the blade steel and interchangeable bits. Suddenly the arc came out and I don’t go a second I’m awake without it on me. I’m a mechanic so I use it all the time.
@@nickallen937 That's cool to know other folks had the same tool progression. It sure is super useful. I also like hearing from a mechanic since that assures me the tool can hold up to harder use than I've put it through yet. 👍🏻
Been carrying my Wave for 20 years and it loosened at year 7 maybe? Hahaha and that's not time dependent, more about how much you use the pliers
knife (folder or fixed depending on task), multitool, and flashlight. on body everyday.
Looks like another winner from Work Sharp.
can u use it as a second monitor on macbook like extended monitor?
@@UgiCanOzcelik It's possible with a USB-C cable but otherwise I don't think so. Extended display in the main way I know of with MacBook expects an iPad.
Enjoyed your video. I wish the company had added a Ferro rod holder on the edge of the sheath.
@@diamondwchamp Ah yeah that'd be a nice touch - especially as a camp knife. I wonder if there are 3D printed third party sheaths with that feature that'd fit these knives. I'll have to check into that. Thank you for the kind words.
Yes! That’s the way to go
did they improve the soundstage?
@@a2raya772 Not dramatically, but I do hear a bit wider sound because the pads push the drivers further away from the ear. It's a nice complement to how they already sound, but as I said in another video after this one, the pads come with an extra screen over the inner ear part that can diminish the highs if you don't remove it or the screen that was already on the 1990s. 👍🏻
Interesting video. I've always wanted to carry a full sized multitool, but never liked that it had to go on my belt or weigh down my pocket. I also don't like that they are often stiff and annoying to use. Both of my full size Leatherman were expensive, but do not feel premium at all. So I ended up with the little Leatherman Squirt for a pocket plier, Victorinox Classic, and a primary folder. Sometimes I'll drop my Victorinox Compact in a different pocket for more options depending on the intended activity. Maybe it's time to check out some new offerings like the Arc? Thanks.
Yea I’m in the same situation. Daily a skeletool cus the tools are just right and then I have a supertool 300 for heavy work. It’s cool because of how useful it is and it meets all of my needs perfectly but I’ve got a dozen folders that have largely gone uncarried as a result. And then when I do feel the need for just a knife a fixed blade just makes more sense. Only really carry folders like once a month now and it’s mostly just to fidget on my shift or something.
What is the fix blade
It's a Flissa 9-inch. You can find it on Amazon for a surprising $25. If you're curious about it, I did a video putting it and one other knife through its paces here: ua-cam.com/video/h8EqKyfu9Q4/v-deo.html
Same! I still like carrying a folding knife. But I feel naked without a multitool. Can't count the amount of times I've been able to solve a problem, fix something for someone, or just save myself from going to the tool chest. If I want lightweight, I at least carry the Leatherman Skeletool with a Victorinox Compact. And I always have a Vic Manager in my 5th pocket.
i have a flissa also I got the black version it came with a wire burr after that was gone it does good
i have the same problem with the charge plus, tried everything, prying it with wood both ways, putting wd40, paint thinner, all kinds of oils, and who knows what else i've tried-NOTHING helped...
@@4nhk066 Yeah it's really discouraging, especially on a $150+ tool. When I'd had a much cheaper multitool I figured hey, I'm using the budget version. But when you upgrade to the Charge which is supposed to be a higher end Wave, you'd expect better fit and finish. Sorry to hear you've had the same experience with it. :-/
Nice video. The only Leatherman I have is the Signal, which doesn't make a lot of sense as an EDC for most people. Maybe it's time to try the Arc and simultaneously try EDCing a multitool.
@@benthephilosopher Thanks! Yeah for me anyway, prior to carrying a multitool I would've said I don't actually need one very often. But it's definitely been the kind of thing where once I had it on me I was surprised how many ways I find to use it each day. I appreciate the comment.
I pocket carry a small fixed blade and a multi tool. Fixed blade for harder tasks or something that’s going to be dirty and a LM for other stuff.
Yeah I am starting to see that that's probably the ideal setup. Thanks for commenting!
Thanks for sharing your experiences ! I have 2 questions: 1) I am looking for a sound quality in which I can hear the significant drum punch without losing other details. I think DT1770 is the right one, do you have any other headphone suggestions before purchasing this one or you still ok ? 2) It looks like you are happy with SoundBlaster G6. Do you have other suggestions for DT1770 max quality or is G6 enough ? I am ok with any desktop setup, included G6.
@@erdinaryus As far as the G6 goes, while it is marketed as a gaming sound card I've seen reviews of it in audio forums from folks more technical than myself, and it's got a well regarded DAC in it that folks usually say for the price point is excellent FWIW. I'd certainly recommend it as a pretty affordable way to get sound that does headphones like the 1770 justice. I've certainly never felt like the sound card was holding any of my headphones back, and it has plenty enough power for 250 ohm headphones in high gain mode. Not saying of course you can't do better for a few hundred bucks (like the Schiit Hel) but the G6 is no slouch. To your other question, yeah if you're looking for bass impact while still having crisp details, the 1770 is one of the best I've tried in those regards. Other headphones have a more open/wide sound to them, but the kind of in-your-face yet very detailed sound these have complement certain music really well, and I think is great for games. There are some other headphones I've tried that I'd say have great sound, including the DT 1990 and many of Sennheiser's offerings, but none have the sense of impact the 1770 do. Hope that helps.
@@Digimorphosis Thanks a lot for the insights ! One more addition to my previous comment, your channel name is great ! Very smart and nice way to refer digital+transformation which aligns perfectly with the content type. I love it 👍

Very true. I have the exact same experience.
I see. So, they crafted the design with the intention of limiting the usefulness of the device enough to push consumers to want to replace their phone with something newer. I'm quite frustrated by internal storage of 64GB with only 0.5 GB available and 1.5GB being apps that can't be moved to the plentiful unused storage capacity of my gigantic SD card. If the device allowed me to manage the storage, I wouldn't be motivated to give Samsung any more of my money until my phone breaks or gets lost.
So let's me gets this str8 I have buy a 512gb SD card from Amazon to work on my android tablet so you is telling me that I just downloaded a video game and the pictures I have wouldn't work for this 512 SD card I am trying to understand what your saying it's a waste of money to use sir I also had a 64 GB SD card but I don't program none of them yet please explain more details to me the tablet I have is a Vortex T10M Pro but later on I am buying a Lenovo P11 pro
@@jamesslaughter8666 Hey there! To clarify, I'm not saying games and other things don't work on an SD card. Just that apps are inconsistent with whether they will allow you to store the data on the card or if they insist upon being in the internal storage. Some allow SD card usage and some don't. So it's not to say that an SD card is useless, just that it's not the slam dunk it's often described as since depending on what you're doing the Android system may not allow you to use it the way you'd hoped. Thanks for watching and commenting, and I hope that helps. Let me know if I can clarify better and I'll do my best.
Great video! Answered all my Q's! I currently have an iPad Pro M2 12.9 and an iPad Mini 6. Was considering swapping the Mini 6 for the Tab S9 11 just for kicks to revisit Android check out Samsung Ai, etc. I was all in on Samsung before switching to Apple about 10 years ago. Kinda disappointing this doesn't integrate better, but that's what keeps you tied to one or the other I guess. It was the Apple's ecosystem seamless integration that made me switch, now looks like i'm stuck with them unless I totally change teams again.
I've been carrying one for 5 years now. Bright and simple.
I was thinking of buying these speakers because of their low frequency, because I want some speakers with a very good bass, watching this review I see that with these I will not get what I want, could you please recommend me some gamer speakers that are not very expensive but with an excellent bass?
@@ricardomadera7226 The only ways I know of to get good bass are to have large floor standing speakers and a good amp, or small speakers with a subwoofer. Not sure what I could recommend that'd fall into the "not very expensive" part. Klipsch made a Promedia 2.1 set with a subwoofer that I used years back, and JBL had something similar. I believe the prices were around $150-200. If that's in your budget I can try to track down model numbers. In my experience, you can't really go lower than that price without making serious concessions -- usually in terms of power and build quality, which usually also affects clarity and bass. No little desktop speakers are going to have good bass by themselves, unfortunately.
@@Digimorphosis I'm going for the small speakers with subwoofer option, I'm checking the OROW S215 :)
@@ricardomadera7226 Cool! I hadn't heard of those, but I hope they work out for you!
I've never scrapped junk manually... junk is automatically broken down when you build in workshop mode. The only reason to scrap anything manually would be to raise the build limit.
@@robertkolb2288 Fair point, BUT if you're going long stretches between building settlements or not spending much time on settlements at a given stage in your game you can't rely on that. That's certainly been the case for me in this play through, where I'm collecting junk mostly for weapon/armor upgrades and not settlement building, and this is a good way to mitigate carry weight. I appreciate you mentioning this, though!
I have found scrapping junk manually SO annoying! I will definitely try and get this one installed. Thank you.

I have an ipad and an android.. And the ipad is always full. And I've never noticed that the memory card was slow.. Maybe you use video camera memory cards in the tablet?? My friend did that and kicked the memory cards to hell 🤣
@@hactarincognit.o5956 To clarify, I was explaining why when I looked into why android doesn't allow you to use the microSD card for certain things what the manufacturers were saying. I'm not saying i personally found them too slow -- in fact if you note in the video I remarked that I wished they could be used for more things that I felt they would be fast enough for. But many don't peak beyond 150-180MB/s whereas SSD is usually 500-2500MB/s, which is likely I guess why the manufacturers are saying what they say about that.
