@PJClutch Yeah getting Dame was a dream come true for so many Bucks fans including me but the way we shipped Jrue, who was willing to be a Buck for life, it made me feel so empty. I didn't want the Celtics to win but can't be happier for my guy Jrue.
Did you really, truly think that Jrue was NOT going to be traded immediately by the Blazers? They had no reason whatsoever for keeping a 33 year old stud like him on their rebuilding team. And he's the type of player whose biggest value would be on another contender. So he was always going to pass through Portland on his way to a short list of contending teams. And Boston was obviously one of the members of that short list. But don't feel TOO bad. After all, Philadelphia traded him for Nerlens Noel, way back when, as they kicked off "The Process".
@melmartinez7002 I mean my point was I don't think Horst would've known that Jrue would've went to the CELTICS out of all 28 teams. He could've easily went to teams like Miami and his move to the Celtics was a pretty big shock too. But yea you're right at least we ain't Philly lol

Ain't no way you're saying Jrue worse than Dame impact-wise. Dame cannot thrive as a second option while Jrue is a great defensive glue guy. His defense in the '22 and '21 season was shadowed by Butler's 50 ball.
I think we would have to give time to see who is actually better for the team. But my main point was about how a lot of Bucks fans wanted to move on from Jrue and finally got a superstar that they desperately wanted just to give him the same treatment as Jrue. I personally would've liked to see a Jrue Dame Giannis core but it is what it is.
