This just tells the printer to ignore the problem; it doesn't fix it. The ink sponge needs to be emptied or replaced. I'm still looking for a video on how to do that -- the top sponge comes out easily but the others don't want to and I don't want to force it.

The G2200 will not remain in "service mode". After the 5th button press and release, the led flashes a few times. But then motor turns for a few seconds and the led is solid again.
