Extreme Fender Well Detail - Nasty Embedded Tar & Gravel (Decades Old)
Just swap the button rubber out and then your done because the ignition switch charges the key fob battery when it’s in the ignition,BOOM
thank you, just swapped mine, 2007 GP. Notice my new sway bar is actually touching my oem cat.? thinking maybe the old bar was also as it has some scuffing on it at the center where it raises upward.... how much clearance are you guys seeing? suppose exhaust could have dropped a bit. not sure.
Dan, you're back!
Wow, you got your hand on that cap without moving the rad fluid. On mine, I don't have SC and there is like zero room to get your hand in there.
Ask a friend with skinny arms to assist :)
Thanks!
Welcome!
Did yours have Bose stock? I want a new head unit but have Bose wondering if it’s possible
Yes, was stock Bose. Tried just a HU but the integration adapters have quirks. Best I can tell you is with Bose to either keep it all Boae or gut it completely and go all aftermarket.
Yes, I've subscribed & rang the notification bell. Excellent & informative video. I "stumbled" onto this video/topic, something I didn't even know existed. I bought some, tested a strip on the brake fluid which was OK & coolant which told me the coolant was on the verge of turning acidic. I successfully drained & replaced the coolant in my car yesterday using the OEM No Spill Funnel to help with the maintenance. Everything worked - no engine overheating -- plenty of heat from the car's interior passenger heater & I replaced the same amount of coolant as I drained. The Phoenix System test strips is a MUST have/use if or when looking to buy a used car.
Thanks for watching!
Just freshening my memory on doing this - will be on a 92 Olds 3300. I flushed my 94 Taurus years back and the "lock to lock" method wasn't working well so I started the engine for about a couple of seconds. Empty INSTANTLY. Luckily I caught most of the fluid, it came out at high velocity.
Just picked one up today brand new $998
That's a good deal in today's market. Now if they only would do a fire sale on the matching top chest.
You state that you have the metric in Red ink and SAE in black, so what's up with the metric in black on the bottom row?
Good eye! I was figuring out the method as I went. I redid a few others to be more consistent but chose to leave those as-is.
Great idea. If you never use your tools.
The shorter rails shown at the end I used professionally for 10+ years. 98% of the labels on them are still the originals.
Throw away the non metric , easyvto recognizecthe size, simpler, cheaper. Forvthecrate nonnmeyric, use a crescent, vicegrip, hammer.
I got tired of losing 10mm sockets, so I put a gps tracker on a new one. Sure enough it went missing. Before I could fire the app up, the gnome that stole it brought it back. Little guy didnt even appologize! I yelled at him about socks and he just giggled as he ran away.
Excellent video. God bless.
Great job my hillbilly friend. Buick 3800 engine; the best engine GM built. Too bad the idiots stopped making them.
LS for the win, 3800 for the groceries.
Nice Job!...My new rear window struts, one ground contact spins and seems loose? The manufacturer said to send them a pic or video. Don't know if this is a big deal?
Try swapping the end with the one from the old strut.
@@diymakerdan Ok very good idea. Come to find out, I had to turn the whole strut to loosen it enough to remove it from the ends. now I could use a flathead, s hook, or pick to remove the head from the ball joint. my oems had no spring on the outside to speak of, it all worked out taking bits and pieces from every C4 owner Thank You All
That background music doesn't help your video at all.
Great demo thanks 🙏
😊😊😊
lol, this video was perfect because it showed me that the guest shifter previously installed was backwards. Love cleaning up after people …
Thank you for this review. It is very versatile and I like that.
Okay that's fine and dandy but what about the cat?
They have their own channel. www.youtube.com/@DansHouseofBengals
What was the point of this video, Fix the stupid title
I just fill my clean coffee cup with water to measure it, then pour it in. I really enjoy what you pour in is what comes out, its perfect.
38 degrees is not cold enough for beer though, do you think that this would give you the ability to get down more like 30 degrees?
Yes, that is where I have mine set nowadays, the thermometer confirms it.
@@diymakerdan Dang....I had one of these and gave it away. NOw I have a magic chef, the 10.1 cubic inch one with teh freezer on top. Damn thing closest I can get is around 34 degrees still not cold enough but a lot colder than my Danby the best that thing would do was 40. Same exact thermostat so I feel stupid for upgrading. The Magic Chef has a control board so I can't even tweak that at all.
Great video. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you!
Just buy a new key and program it at home. It takes 30 .minutes 😊
I said fuq that, and just reprogrammed a new fob and just replaced the key blade, i now have 3 fobs programmed 🤣😭 they also have individual rubber buttons to replace as needed
Do i have to make my own connector? I've seen usb to ob2 connectors online ?
Build or buy, the choice is yours.
My bed frame is a light wood. Do the screws show on the outside?
Thanks for your video I'm in the middle of replacing mine on my 2000 GTP glad to know don't have drop sub frame, thanks again.
Never heard of the spray bottle method of extraction. Nice MacGyver hack.
similar damage on my 84. Are they relatively similar? I know the hood is a one year only due to the air induction
Yes, pretty much the same.
Love mine!
38 degrees is not cold enough, I want my drinks at 34 degrees
Same soundcard, same music :)
Nice job thk. For you video.
Thanks for watching Oscar!
Everyone complaining about him not showing him actually removing the sway bar……If you listen to what he’s SAYING, he tried to remove the links but they broke. If you can’t figure out how to take yours off, call a mechanic. He showed you got to remove a bushing, at least on one side, the other is exactly the same! After removing bolts from the bushing brackets he tells you he has to jack up the control arm and it “pretty much pulled it straight out. There was a little bit of a tug at the end but once I gave it a tug it pulled straight through”. Do you people seriously need a visual for every little detail?
I'm sure this wasn't a fun series to make, but I really appreciate it. I had identical damage on the driver's side and these videos are the reason I was able to keep & rebuild my car
Perhaps one the best comments received ever. Glad the series helped you to restore your ride.
You sure they're called nipples Mate?
Great video!! I bought one and I'm absolutely loving it. No idea why Bunn is completely ignored by the mainstream coffee world... I managed to get a Bunn MCU for about $50 shipping included :D
Brand new or used?
@@diymakerdan Used. Looks like it was refurbished by amazon based on some stickers. Used it today, worked amazing, super good taste. It was an auction starting at $20 and I won it!
The best inflator you can get go to home depot and get their brand Ridgid!! Pair it with a rigid two amp battery and your good. Some of the features include a quick release so you don't have to thread on the valve stem. Quick release, turn the Digital dial to the correct inflation and the machine does the rest. It even shuts off automatically.
I think you have the only and best video that shows an in depth step by step install and adjustments. Great job.
Thanks 👍
I have the same chrome wheels as you do.
Doing a nice job Dan.
Where were you able to source your parts? Did you find them locally or order them online? I need a hood and I'm curious.
Found them locally, found a guy through a parts ad that does salvage with C4's and Camaros. Shipping on a hood would be outrageous, plus best to inspect before you buy.
You might mention that to change the bulb in the front parking lights the bumper cover has to come off. You are doing a great job, may want to consider a side job repairing c-4s
To change the housing yes but to change just the bulb, it should be accessible. Appreciate the comments!
Oh, okay thanks Dan.@@diymakerdan
You have taking on quite a job. Very happy you decided to make a series, it will help me immensely repairing my 1989 which was deer damaged. So many damn little parts invovled in tearing this down; but you have patience which I run short on. Thank you, I appreciate it.
Yes it is quite the job indeed especially for a first timer like myself with little reference to go on. Best advice to take a lot of pictures/video if you can and make sure to tag and bag all parts/ fasteners so reassembly goes smooth. Glad the series helps you!
That's great and all, but you never explained why DexCool was bad, why green was superior, and why almost every other manufacturer is switching to an OAT style coolant like DexCool. These videos that are half assed full of information are the reason why our kids make idiotic videos as well. I don't agree or disagree with your videos's presentation, I have issue when you don't inform your viewers why chemically one is superior to another.
