Why is the recorder the best instrument?
You can play this magical instrument wherever you want.
And you can start playing it at any age.
You can even play the recorder in an ensemble with any other instrument. Because of its unique sound the recorder will sound perfectly with every instrument and in different genres.
Besides, the recorder is not just one instrument. It’s a whole family of instruments.
And, of course, you can express yourself through the recorder and the music you are playing.

Very nice!
I am proud to say I have just joined the community of recorder players. I have rediscovered music a year ago and started with piano which I still play time to time, as well as Tenor Ukulele and Baritone Ukulele which I play for hours every day. I was also playing the Tin Whistle until a few days ago. I stumbled on videos here on UA-cam comparing the sounds of the Tin Whistle with the Soprano Recorder, and I have to admit every song they played on both instruments sounded better to me on the Recorder. I immediately went online to buy an assortment of plastic Recorders. I now have 3 different types of Yamaha soprano's and a fourth arriving tomorrow. I also have an wonderful Alto Yamaha Recorder and I love the sound of the Recorders so much that I have played them for 2 hours every day of the 3 days that I have had them. I still love my Ukuleles and obsess over them, but now they share equal time with my Recorders getting hours of practice every day. I now have 2 musical instruments that I am in love with and they give me a unique voice to express myself and bring joy to my heart.
Fantastic video with a nice tune, and played beautifully!
Amazing..You really played it well. ❤❤❤
Encore please.
Do men get to play?
I hope this is the first of many videos!
Hi, Lolita. Continue with the channel, post more beautiful songs with recorder.
Ja sam "navučen" na blok flaute još od '90-ih, kada sam slučajno i prvi put naleteo na majstora Fransa Bruggena - od tada sviram/vežbam +-svakodnevno Najgenijalniji najpotcenjeniji instrument

Very well played! Great recording! Thanks for uploading! 🥰👍 Greetings from Germany!
where are the scores? :D
Ficou lindo, um abraço do Flautista
As a flute player, I also want to carry a basic alto or soprano recorder anywhere with me. Recorder has simple construction, hard to break, and plastic ones can be played in the rain.
An alto recorder is the best small instrument to carry around along with an harmonica. One has to watch out for wind when playing outside however since it will outblow the player when it catches in the instrument's window. I recommend getting both soprano and alto as they have different fingering since the first is in the and the other in F. You can start by learning some country dance tunes by Playford :)
Very nice playing 👍

What a fun little tune!! Kind of like an Irish jig or reel. I found the sheet music on The Session. I will be playing. I have several books of Irish\Celtic music can you suggest any books with Swedish music of this type? Thanks.
Yes! Try ”Svenska Låtar” by Nils & Olof Andersson www.folkwiki.se/Notböcker/SvenskaLåtar
@@llolilit Thank you SO MUCH!!! This is WONDERFUL! A whole new world of music has opened up for me!!
Fantastic!
Thank you! 🙂
Fantastic video!!! And good playing 😊 It certainly reach its goal; who would not want to play the recorder after seeing that video?
Thank you, please, do! It’s a wonderful instrument 🙂
Unfortunately your video will have no effect on me, I already am a recorder player, and I love that instrument so much! Note that I play classical guitar (studied it at conservatory), in the past I played the clarinet, transverse flute, viola da gamba, but honestly I can say that the recorder is probably my favorite to play. So yes, the recorder is truly a fantastic instrument, not just one we chose because it is inexpensive (though there is very good inexpensive plastic recorders on the market) or easy to play (it is easy to emit a sound, but definitively NOT easy to play well). I am just not so in love with the soprano, my love is for the alto, tenor and bass 😊
