Bruh I had the idea for Conway’s Game of Life to the Death over a year ago. I even fully coded it but ran into an error with the engine that couldn’t be fixed as the feature was put on hold until some later updates, making me abandon it.

This could actually be a really interesting game if wrapped properly. I imagine each player getting a specific region, such as a quadrant, and a specific amount of living cells, which they can arrange however they like, without knowing how the other side is arranging theirs. Then you just need online matchmaking and a rank system and you're good to go. The hard part would be detecting the end of the game. Perhaps a certain amount of generations without battle.

I need to tell you this, but you don't have to kill the guy inside to deal damage. You can kill the tank from outside even though they are really beefy. I also recommend finding the secret characters as they can really add a ton of things to the battles as well.
