you cant compare it by pure numbers. Could Adebayo defend Shaq or Haakem? No. Would Mournings game work for him in todays soft but offensiv style of playing? We dont know. But what we know is that back than scoring numbers were much lower - some games were like 88-76 so scoring output, rebound numbers and so on were lower.

i watched AI take a team to the finals lol and took a game off one of the best teams ever in said finals. AI wasn’t surrounded by shooters. he was surrounded by defenders who was there to defend and give him the ball. harden is great but allen iverson did something i don’t think anybody else but him could’ve done

As great as David Robinson was in the regular season when things got more physical in the playoffs his production went down while Patrick Ewin in the playoffs steeped up.

No comparison Nash was taking those looks on better defenses, curry never had to deal with the San Antonio spurs or the 04 Detroit Pistons never had to play smash mouth basketball. Tougher brand of basketball the nba as a whole is smaller, leaner and softer.

How is this a question? Just looking at the skill sets Giannis by far is the better all around player especially with scoring and defense. Giannis is a better overall scorer, rebounder, perimeter and inside defender. Stats wise, it’s not even close at all. Giannis in the last 8 years is averaging 29/6/12 1.2 stls + 1.2 blks ( 4 of those years being 30 pts and 11rbs) Kemp never got over 20 and 10. Kemp was more of a 18/10 guy, and his defense was more athletically based than skilled based. But to really seal the deal Within those 8 years (for Giannis) he’s gotten 2 mvps, 1 dpoy, 4 def 1st teams, 5 all nba 1st teams. While kemp was no where near any of that.
