It’s not completely necessary to remove all the plastics. Just the air box and fuel line from the peacock Also new carburetors come pre tuned for the most part unless you had done other modifications like exhaust or airbox mods.

Are you missing the metal retaining bracket that holds the trigger wire harness down?
