Obvious ways to jam on model:samples somebody does
Переглядів 1763 роки тому
Hi guys, In this video I show you how I like to approach this device. Yes it is pretty straightforward as a learning curve, but I think I'm still expanding my workflow and learning what to do with it, and the result can be pretty interesting. Let me know if you like it, or not.

Hi guys, Here you are another video, here is my relatively new setup with model:samples and arturia Keylab Essential 61. Other devices you see are Korg Nanokotrol 2 and the simple but useful Behringer pedal Compressor. Software instruments are always from Arturia, a mix of Pigments and Analog Lab. Comment if you like it, or not

Getting Funky with model:samples - STEP INTO IT

Hi guys, here is a video I made of a track I created recently. The big effort was put on the making of the track, which of course went trough an ableton process. This is what my actual video making skills allowed me to do, experimenting with this new format. Hope you like it and let me know in the comments what you think. WHAT I USED: Software: Ableton live lite 10, Analog Lab 4, Pigments Gear:...

Hi, I made this track using Model:Samples and Ableton Live. I think this is a fun and interesting way to obtain new effects and expand the possibilities of this little but powerful machine. As always, let me know what you think in the comments.

Hi, here I tried to use my setup to make a short jam, hope you don't mind my mediocre piano skills but that's actually not a piano so it's ok I guess. As always let me know if you like it or not!

Hi, I made this song using model:samples and artusia minilab MKII, other presets come from analog lab 4. Hope you enjoy, let me know in the comments if you like it or not.
How have you wired the output?
I just plugged the main output directly into the audio interface
Nobody does this?
Brilliant 😂
soooo helpful! i just got one and struggling to learn so thanks for the tips
Love it
where did you get the 909 samples
I don't remember those specific ones, but just google them there are plenty basic drum sample packs for free :)
nice. thank *YOU*. for playing keys, try the 'Keys & Scales' MIDI effect in ableton live. after adding it, whatever keys you play on your keyboard will fit to the chosen scale.
good idea. thank *YOU*
Hi there, creative way of using both devices! I recently got a Model:Samples and thinking about grabbing an Arturia keyboard. How did you hook these to up? Directly into a laptop/pc, or are they hooked up together as well? Cheers
Thanks man, it depends on what keyboard you buy, this one has only usb port so you have to hook it up to a pc and use it with a software plugin, if you buy one with a midi out like the bigger one you see in my videos you can connect it to the model:samples, in this case it will be monophonic of course
Model:Samples = great way to get some bootys shaking at your next house party. Well done!
That would absolutely work, I'd like to try ;)
I had a Digitakt that I never quite got the hang of. Too much menu diving for my taste. I got the Model Cycles and Model Samples a couple of weeks ago. So fun and user-friendly.
@@Jtmalinak I'm sorry for your experience with digitakt, that's a piece of gear that I've always desired but never decided to buy. But I agree with you, the samples for me is like a whiteboard where you can easily throw your musical ideas without much effort, much fun
hi. you have to change your tittle, its not tutorial ; )
idk why people be hatin on this video, i quite enjoyed it lol
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated! I guess that's for the 'not so good video quality', I'm still learning the mysteries of video editing :)
Hhhhmmmm, looks like you had fun there. I love my Samples, what I love most is the conditionals, they make programming more interesting semi humanised sequences almost a pleasure.
Totally agree, simple but effective ;)
nice, i have a video called retrig mastery you may dig for some not-so-obvious ways to use the samples
Thanks man, if you mean your videos I think I already saw them, you really dig it
@@messybeats9190 killer :)
Nice song!
Sounded thin and kooky 😆
Ahah I guess that's a good point
Really enjoying your content. I like the format and your style of communication. The instructional aspect is great. These are really cool beats. Subcribed!
Thanks for the nice feedback, those were exactly the principles I was aiming for ;)
my cancer got aids after watching the video
Sub number 14 for ya, thanks for getting down on the M:S to show us stuff
Thanks for the support ;)
came here because I just ordered the minilab 2 & nanokontrol2 and wanted to see them in action. this was pretty neat actually :)
Thanks! They are simple but you can be very creative with them ;)
??
"Look, Ma, I can LFO parameters on a almost-one-function-per-knob machine!"
Ahah that's the point of this device I guess, having fun with the basics
