Inglenook Slideshow - MDSW 2022
This is the powerpoint presentation we made for our lecture at Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival, 2022. Since it's a little difficult to see it in the video of the talk, we wanted to share it separately. (But it has no sound!)

We were asked to tell the story of Inglenook Fibers at this year's Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival. It was both a joy and an honor for us to visit this festival for the first time and mingle there with some of the most illustrious spinning and knitting instructors.

Thanks for the tip about putting the silk under the other fiber so it doesn’t get stuck in the teeth! That’s very helpful! Also, that barf is beautiful.
That’s beautiful! I love making art batts. What kind of drum carder are you using? I use a Baby Brother drum carder.
We use a Duncan double wide electric ❤
What brand of carder is that cause it's gorgeous and I want one like that
I like that your helper has their own comfy box.
You two are simply the best🥰 Your work is amazing.
oh and what kind of carder is that?
it's an older (maybe 10 years old) Duncan.
are you a spinner too?
Definitely!! that taught us how we like our batts- from making something then spinning it 😀
Gorgeous colors! Very nice job💖
This is delicious to watch🌟
Everything else I've seen says.. Don't put too much in at a time.. Don't pull on the fiber while it feeds in. Is interesting to see everyone's completely different way of doing things but also a little confusing. 😂😂
it's really good to try things- some carders can handle more, and some can't. You will learn best what works for you by trying it on your carder.
You are both so utterly delightful! I'm so glad I watched this today instead of sooner because you uplifted me on a day when I most needed it.
What is “bond fleece”? Thanks!
It's a breed- similar to corriedale
So enjoyable to hear about your fiber journey! 💗
The colors are like a garden of beautiful flowers. What a wonderful "eye" filling presentation.
Awesome! What a wonderful, informative presentation! Love to you both!
Love your presentation! Thank you so much for sharing!
Love it! So much fun to see your process!
How fun! You ladies could put me to work any day…your studio looks so inspiring!
Amazing talk; you two are fabulous craftspeople and I can completely relate to the "I will NOT pick this new craft up! Oh no..." habit. Thank you for sharing this with us!
Wonderful beyond words.
Thanks so much for sharing this - Fun and amazing to see how much work goes into one of those gorgeous bags of fluff! (Loved Mungo's little cameo :-D)
You totally cracked me up with the super fast carding! LOOOVE the icons you added to the carder - did you do those yourself? Man - I remember the old hand cranked model you used in the early days - this one looks SOOO much more fun and easier on your shoulder! Thanks so much for posting these videos :-). You *almost* make me want to get a carder.....
Wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing 🤩
Awesome video! Thank you for sharing your art!
