I currently have a stock ps4 as well as a 4K samsung Tv but what confuses me is that through the video settings on the ps4 the automatic option doesn't enable because it says hdr is not available. Should i just do the TV option of turning it on and it'll work? Thank youuu

Thanks for your video, wish I'd seen it before spending an hour digging through the Samsung pdf manual and getting very confused, as so often with tech manuals info is all over the place, you would think which HDMI channel to use would be mentioned under "Supported Resolutions for each of UHD Input Signals" but no, it's briefly mentioned under "Picture and Sound" HDMI UHD Color, "For the SUHD models, each HDMI connection can be individually optimized for HDMI UHD Color. For the UHD models, make sure to connect to the HDMI IN 1 port of the TV", the yellow channel as you said. So if you have an UHD TV like mine and could only set UHD on HDMI 1, that is why, only SUHD models support it on all channels, I would have thought that Samsung would have made a big deal about these TV's being 4K with a section dedicated to it but it's hardly mentioned in the manual..love tech, hate bad manuals!
