I just bought a 10,000 Cygnett phone charger from ALDI for $25. Have I been conned with an out of date redundant piece of junk or what? I cant see any reference to this power pack on their website - which is hopeless for any green horn needing to learn about these devices - like most "modern" device sites are. I guess I have to learn by pain and usually a failed gain as usual. Why am I always sucked into these "bargains"? trying to understand this thing leaves me really only one alternative and that is to find someone who has experience with this type of device who has the kind of brain that can actually explain something in a logical way. Cygnet should get of its ego kick and learn how to talk to simple minded people like me.

costs add up really fast on raspberry pi ecosystem. idk why people assume that single board computers can compare to phones in tasks like web browsing etc. they can not. mine struggles to open wikipedia and you can't even scroll the page without it lagging

BEWARE. PLEASE READ THIS WHEN CONSIDERING BUYING ONE OF THESE. Although the power tools themselves carry a 5 year warranty the radios DO NOT. They only have a 1 year warranty. I bought my radio in late 2021 or early 2022, I forget when exactly. I've almost always used this on 120V plugged into the wall and only used it from time to time off of the battery when working on a car etc. Towards the end of 2023 my radio stopped charging the battery and stopped operating on 120V. It now only works if you put a charged battery in it. After the battery dies you have to put another charged battery in in order to use the radio. My radio failed roughly 1.5 to 1.75 years after buying it, and with only a 1 year warranty I'd have to buy the charging/120V power supply assembly out of pocket. You'd think it wouldn't be that bad. BUT... The power supply inside is a $185 to $245 part depending where you buy it! Most parts sites have it for a little over $200. THE CHEAPEST I've found it was $185 through Biedlers website. Adding shipping/taxes that would end up costing over $200. Or more than that if you didn't know where the cheapest seller was. $200 to $260 to fix a radio that Amazon sells brand new for $239.99!!! Short and sweet: If the 120V power supply/M18 charger in the radio fails outside of the 1 year warranty it's the same price OR CHEAPER to just go and buy a completely new radio than to buy a part and replace it yourself. This is COMPLETELY ABSURD.

Due to access issues I couldn't get in behind the hole so I had to use foam, which meant I then had to use epoxy resin. Still it turned out quite well.
