I’m just gonna share my family’s story. In February 2024, my mom got admitted to the hospital because of the breast cancer she had that unfortunately was not found and turned metastatic. The reason she was admitted is she had fell down in front of me, and was not able to stand up due to the metastasis in her spine bones, becoming extremely painful. For the last 7 months, the doctors had shoved it away as muscle pain, degenerative disc disease, slipped discs, everything you can think of to happen to your spine. It was never found that she had cancer, only when she was admitted to the hospital did they find it. It was already too late as it had gone to stage 4 and was not curable. You might be thinking, what does this have to do with Young Sheldon? I’ll explain that now. My mom was a huge fan of it. She would binge watch the episodes every time they came out, and also watch the older version, Big Bang Theory. Even when she was in the hospital, my sister would play it for her. Well, at the time this episode was released, my mom wasn’t doing good. The metastatic bc had spread to almost everywhere, her bones, lungs and now, her liver. I watched her about three weeks ago, memorial day, (my mother was a huge patriotic person), when she was really happy. We brought up a nice patriotic shirt for her to wear as a gown. That day, was one of the last days she felt good. At the start of June, the cancer started spreading to her liver, the tumor growing and sadly, she became more overwhelmed and tired. As it spread, her eyes began showing jaundice, and her liver started acting up. Her blood pressure went down to 50/60, and she was weak. When the episode released, my sister (who spent the night at the hospital because she had gotten called) took out her laptop and like every time, watched the episode with her, even though it was hard for her to keep her eyes open. But this time, the show was ending. And my mother was too. She died June 16, 2024, at 9:36 a.m. ❤ Thanks for reading. I just have to say, this show was very special to her. Please cherish every moment you have with your parents/family. You’ll never know when it’ll be too late.

I lost my grandma 2 years ago now from a Heart Attack The last time I talked to her we had an argument Then I got news of her death and I was sitting in my room just wanting to be alone. I didn’t eat. I didn’t drink. All I did was sit there thinking what I could’ve said. I miss Grandma 😢
