    How to heal leaky gut, leaky thyroid and leaky brain?😢

    • @Dr.ZulkifalPhD
      @Dr.ZulkifalPhD День тому

      Very important question! The main causes of leaky gut and brain issues are our modern diet-high in processed foods, low in fiber, rich in refined sugars-along with stress and alcohol. Managing these four factors significantly increases the chances of healing. Stay tuned for my next video, where I’ll explain in detail

    I had influenza virus couple of weeks ago. Then i got coughing which take couple of weeks to get better. But it really exhaust me out now the coughing is almost gone. But i am having lack of motivation. And also i am having trouble sleeping from last 3 days which is really stressing me out.. It feel like my brain become hyperactive whenever i get to bed

      Sleep issues are common after influenza or COVID. Low motivation can also result from the infection. Don’t stress out, practice breathing exercises. To aid recovery: eat healthy, stay hydrated with water and green tea, and dim the lights 2-3 hours before bed. When sleeping, focus on your breathing and gently redirect your attention, imagining your problems drifting away as shown in my video. Wishing you a speedy recovery!

    Great work Dr Sahab. But a little suggestion that you should make videos in Urdu as not everyone understands English clearly. It would help the ones that are in need of this important knowledge. Because most English speakers are from well off backgrounds and they have resources as well. Also your last line of not giving up on our mental health was very helping and make us felt like a connection with you, so always use that line in every video. Thanks❤

    I live in a commune (sort of) and my neighbor is like this, she has multiple mental illnesses including PTSD and borderline personality disorder. She is a pathological liar and makes life very difficult for the rest of us, but I can't personally fault her for it, she just isn't able to take responsibility for her actions, and I know she struggles with that even more than we do. Though I do have to admit that it makes the dynamic within our group quite difficult and we often don't know what to do about her.

    I know that our quick decisions are pre-determined. But are our long-term decisions also pre-determined or not?

    • @Dr.ZulkifalPhD
      @Dr.ZulkifalPhD 23 дні тому

      Our long term decisions are not strictly predetermined, they are shaped by combination of biological, psychological, environmental and situational factors! Our prefrontal cortex plays important role in long term decisions with the help of other brain regions responsible for memory, emotions, reward processing, error detection. Neuroplasticity which is the ability of the brain to adapt based on experiences also plays important role! To conclude i would say that our long term decisions are shaped by a dynamic interplay of brain functions and external factors! Understanding and training our prefrontal cortex to take better long term decisions is possible by writing our experiences, mindfulness, reflection, and goal setting exercises. In the short term decisions amygdala which is the part of brain responsible for emotions can play role thats why sometimes we take emotional quick decisions without considering long term implications!
