I used to live in Fort Bragg which is only a few miles from where filming took place and this music fits that region perfectly. In fact, Dean's house was only a minute drive from my house but I never found out who lived there. It seemed it may have been a rental but it still had the same coloring it did in this film.
I've always loved Goldie and Kurt. This movie was so funny and perfect for them to do, and the kid actors were just great. Wasn't Kurt a mouseketeer ?
