But curiosity took hold of me last night watching you and others go on about boxes, cars, etc. Watched some vids about the codes and all that but, as you mentioned, no code for short cards and what boxes they came from. Oh well. Dropped the grandsons birthday pressie to his place this am… Mum…. HOW FECKING BIG?? It’s the aldi hot wheels engine thingy…. And j got more cars. He’s nearly 2… I do so love revenge!

My HW collection is made up of 95% Porsche and anything else I think is worth a pick up……last time I checked, we all have the same 24hrs in a day so if I choose to get out and hunt and come across something that’s being flipped for 3 times the price, be it a super or any other hot casting, why on Earth would I leave it for some mother to pick up for her kid that doesn’t know or care what they’re playing with???

@@bertieswheels yeah but most of us have jobs to go to in those 24 hours, all I’m saying is your taking away from TRUE collectors who want them in their collection but can’t get them because there’s people like you ( scalpers ) who grab all of them just to make money because their job they are employed to do clearly Dosent pay enough, so they have to take away from true collectors and charge them

Are you insinuating I don’t work??? I run my own company and worked Monday to Saturday last week, gave up a lay in and numerous other tasks to get out for a hunt yesterday morning How’s a ‘true collector’ gonna get it if some kids ripped it out the blister after his mum picked it up for them whilst doing the weekly shop???….If it wasn’t for ‘scalpers’ we wouldn’t be able to buy, for instance, US only releases. So if you’re a ‘true collector’ here in the UK and want the full collection of whatever HWs it is you collect, how else are you going to get them without eBay resellers??? Regardless, there’s plenty of people who just can’t be bothered to hunt and want it without putting any effort in, well I have. My time, effort, fuel and parking isn’t free so of course there’s a charge for doing it!

Not one for my collection, just because it’s a treasure hunt, doesn’t automatically mean I’m going to pick it up….the recent mini and Subaru were worth a pick up, even if just to flip

@@bertieswheels I’m still desperately trying to find the yellow mini, the white Subaru and the red supra seem to be able to find everything but them, coming across endless muscle and blown, 58 bell airs and 77 dodge vans 😅

The mini and Subaru TH? I was lucky in the middle of Lidl with those mini but not every Lidl had H case apparently……they’ll turn up at some point, thrill of the hunt and all that! Managed to nab a few bits of Q case this morning 🙏🏼

Josh, thank you so much for the message. I’m super pleased that my little vids have been a part of giving you a little pick me up when needed to help yourself out of what can seem like a dark and lonely place that comes with all kinds of mental health issues. Have stuffed massively with depression and anger after the death of my parents close together (still get really dark days on occasion but nowhere near as bad) I can get a feel for how debilitating it is. I actually started watching peg hunting vids as my little pick me up too! Continue to be strong when you feel it but allow yourself those bad days, life is never rosey 100% of the time, it’s ok not to be ok buddy. Thanks for tuning in! 👍🏼

@@bertieswheels thank you for the response mate, started collecting hot wheels as a distraction while shopping like a kind of treat to myself that I made it out the house, never knew of treasure or super treasure hunts before watching. Now I make it my mission to get out the house and have a look around. Met a lovely bloke in halfords today that also collect and was nice having a chat with him. Just wanted to let you know that for some of us you’re so much more than a content created you’re our little escape from reality. Keep up the amazing work bro if you’re ever around the Lincoln area would be a please to meet you and but you a coffee or pint.
