    Hey, that’s so funny we just saw one of those sprayers taken care of some fields next-door. Were you concerned about your safety as far as exposure to the chemicals? And just curious what county or town were you in? We live in Franklin county Tennessee near Winchester.

    • @WebsterFarms
      @WebsterFarms 3 місяці тому

      No, the chemicals that we are spraying do not cause harm when just touching your skin. Though we are still cautious, and wash our hands, there isn’t really harm to people outside the sprayer, because the chemicals doesn’t drift very far unless it’s really windy. Also, farmers can’t spray when it gets too windy, so there isn’t really much danger other than if you actually stick your hand under the spray and eat something. We’re near Mount pleasant if you know where that’s at.

    • @WebsterFarms
      @WebsterFarms 6 місяців тому

      thanks, in our operation, we don't do deep tillage and have very light soils, so we don't need as much horsepower say other farms in like Iowa. To be completely honest, we don't even run the tractors very hard, still be very productive and still knock out a lot of acres per day. However, sure you could say we do have undersized tractors for some practices we do, but that was my grandfathers decision when buying tractors and I'm a kid, almost an adult, and don't really have say in what we buy or how we operated.
