Really helpful, exactly the kind of video I needed. I’ve never changed a lightbulb before, and I like the conciseness of the video.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video. However, a little confused. on your face plate for the primary switch, it was marked as 24 and on the secondary switch it was marked as 19. shouldn't they have both been marked 24. On the primary switch, you said the traveler wires were black and white, but on the secondary the travelers were black and red. It would seem the travelers should have been the same color since the travelers run from the primary to the secondary switch. Is it possible the traveler on the first switch is actually red but got painted white somewhere during construction. Still good video very informative
You are right both times. There were other lights in the switch box linked to circuit 19. Also, the red travel wire was painted white.
Awesome 👏 video bro I’m doing demo of jacuzzi tub 🛀 just finished demo walls and the framing around it tomorrow gonna demo the tub I disconnected the cable power
Good luck! Hope your renovation turns out well.
Thank you so much I bought a warm light and didn't like it at all maybe soft light is in the between
Glad I could help!
Are those scorpion as plus 3 tires? how do you like them? deciding between them and the continental lx25 for my same generation Santa Fe.
They seem fine to me. I always get them when they are buy 3 tires, get 1 free. But I really can't notice the difference in tires since my shocks are gone.
With the help of 4 men, it could be pulled out, right
With 4 people, it's possible. The problem is getting it through doors and hallways.
How did it hold up? Did that pipe bend over time?
It's holding up well. The pipe has not bent yet.
What model did u use?
There is a link in the video description.
As Raymond mentioned, it's important to reemphasize this. Older homes, built just a few years ago, were not required to have the electric Neutral wire in the switch box. But, most smart electric switches, 1-way or 3-way types, will need the neutral wire connected to it to operate. So, check for that. This reminder will save you from taking that unnecessary trip to the hardware store to buy a switch that you may not be able to connect, until you fix that. Ask me how I found out.
Thanks for the PSA again!
Thank you for the video. Ir really helped. BTW, it's my understanding that the "plate" under each screw allow the wire to be inserted and then clamped down with the screw. No need for any "clockwise" hook.
Thanks for the comment. Yes, you are correct. You could just put the wore under the plate.
Great job! Thank you for sharing all your videos throughout and after the project.
Thanks for the very nice comment!
So Raymond, what you're saying is that one switch in a 3-way can be a dumb 3-way switch and the other a 3-way Kasa...am I understanding?
Yes, that's correct.
Whoever makes and engineer’s this stuff is a horrible person.. how hard would it be to make it so have pieces that go down into the pipe so you don’t have stupid issues like this.. common sense the shower itself can have the drain hole go down a little into the drain pipe and the connection holding the pipe secure above and around that… but no..we get parts that work for a few years if you held your mouth just right when first doing it.
I totally agree. Not sure why they did this as well.
Can you explain how to add to Kasa App? I couldn't😢
Just download the kasa app. Add device. It should be HS210, but check the model on your device.
This was an informative video!
Thanks for the nice comment!
good job 💯
Thanks!
Looked pretty straight forward. I’m going to do the demo on my master bathroom. I already have a reciprocating saw and now I know what blade to use! Thanks for sharing.
No problem! Good luck on the bathroom remodel.
Thanks!
Appreciate the super thanks. That's very kind of you!
I'm confused that you're using lattice but you're trying to keep rodents out???
Maybe not a rodent, but I had a fox die under the steps of the deck. That's what made me decide to put the lattice up.
How is the sail attached to the top of the pipe? Did you drill holes or is something clamped to it? Also how has the sail held up since installation?
It's a conduit hanger that clamps to the pole. It's in the video. The sail has held up very well. Sometimes the ropes on the corners get undone, but I just retighten them.
Excellent instructions - thank you! This was so easy it has me wondering if I should upgrade the headlights to LED. Any recommendations?
I would recommend LED lights but I can't find H11B LEDs. Also be careful it's not too bright or people will think you have your high beams on.
Very helpful... my setup is a bit more traditional, but this is very helpful nonetheless.
Thanks for the comment!
will normal h11 led bulbs work?
I have not read that anywhere, so I would stick to the H11B
@@RaymondCanDoIt ok bro thank you
Dammit raymond now it looks like mike has to be able to do it too 😂 I was looking for just 1 more instance of confirmation bias for me to not have to open my damn ceiling.
Lol, sorry to hear that. I have another video on endoscopes to see through walls and ceilings. That may be less invasive. But if you open the ceiling, you'll at least feel better if it's nothing too, even if you do have to respackle and paint.
Very clear instructions! Thank you!
Thanks for the comment. Glad the video was helpful!
I changed the low bulbs and they work proper but there is a bus when i turn on the lights on manually. There is no tone when it's on automatic. Any suggestions?
Sorry, I don't have any suggestions. Maybe try to re install the bulbs?
Great video
Thanks for the comment!
what tool did you use to punch out the hole where the wires go through?
I just used a spade bit.
I'm pretty sure you did a lot of extra work connect the wires to the Kasa switch. I just installed a couple of these by lifting up the plate under the terminal screws and just inserting a straight wire under it and tightening it down with the terminal screw. No making hooks or unscrewing the screws all the way out. The wire is trapped securely under the little plate.
Yes, I'm sure I probably did more work than needed. Old habits die hard.
You need to invest in tools to make your job smarter, not harder...ijs
Thanks for the tip. Any suggestions on tools I should get?
Awesome video! I have no remodeling experience but I decided to DIY my master bathroom and I’m doing this now!
Good luck. I have a series of videos on how I remodeled a bathroom. I would suggest getting a free estimate from a plumber. I found that to be the hardest work because a tiny leak can be a big problem.
🥰
Thanks for the comment!
Someone pleaseee help me ive tried for HOURS to get my kasa 3 way smart stitches to work but its not. Im losing my MIND!!! Ive tried just about everything...either im a damn fool or my house wiring is wonky..im betting on me being the fool. 😭😭😭
Do you have a red, white, black and ground wire?
@@RaymondCanDoIt yes I did. But I think i just don't have the neutral wires in every junction light switch box. Because I got 1 - Copper ground wire, 1 Black Line wire, 1 White load wire (power to the light from switch) and 1 Red traveler wire (to the other 3 way switch). No extra wires in the box. So no neutral wire to go back to the breaker. So I'm guessing I just don't have what is needed to make the switches work right.
Correct. You do need a white (neutral) wire.
NOT a good video. Details are sorely lacking. Please remove.
Sorry you feel that way. Hopefully, there was some else's video that was more helpful.
Sorry you thought the video was not helpful.
My wife was using my account looking for something that nobody covers on these videos. She was attempting to take the switch plate cover off and was afraid she would break the small tabs. When I arrived home, I showed her how to w/o breaking. BTW, these wall Switches do NOT work for sh*t. I purchased 3 of them. The first out of the box would not communicate with the phone app; nor would it manually reset. The only thing it will do is turn on/off manually. Not worth the price or the effort. Thanks.
👍👍👍

The top gear (far left) is for transport Not snow blowing.
Thanks for letting me know. That top gear is way too fast for snow blowing. I've only been able to snowblow 2 or 3 of 5 gears
Concise. Informative. Thank you
Thanks for nice comment!
Would silicone work on top of the gasket
It's possible, but I wouldn't recommend it because the pan may flex when people stand on it, causing the silicone to leak.
I do not see any stamps of approval for use in US
Sorry, but not sure what you mean. I'm in the US and use it.
Great job...looks nice!
Thanks!
HI Ray, great video...what do you do with the remaining plumbing if you just want to tile over where the tub sat?
You could cap the water lines under the subfloor and cap the drain line.
Can you link to Kasa switches in way so two different lights will go on when ether switch is pressed?
You can use the kasa, Google or alexa app to do something like that.
Can a 12-pound sledgehammer break up this bathtub?
I didn't try a sledgehammer on fiber glass. I thought it would flex and bounce too much. But definitely let me know!
Thank you for your video. I can replace my headlight by myself :)
Thanks for the comment, and I'm glad the video was helpful!
Exactly what I needed to know. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Hello from Hudson Valley NY! Great vid! Just subbed to you got me with the how to catch a groundhog vid😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Anyway how is the gate holding up? And how did you deal with the sloping of the ground as you went around the bottom? Added more soil or doubled up on the wood? Thanks again for the vid God bless
Thanks for subscribing. I was suprised when I caught the groundhog! For the lattice, I just cut every post to length and made it bigger going down the slope. The gate is doing well!
Would have been a great help if you really showed the entire process
Thanks for the comment. I'll have to do that in the future. I usually try before I make a video. With this one, I didn't want to press my luck taking the gasket out.
Agree completely.
Is the low beam also the DRL light ?
My car does not have DRL lights.
