I don't think united had a good window, but I disagree on that they have treated Rashford badly, blokes earning £325k a week, not putting in the work on the training ground sets a terrible example. done an interview saying he needs a new challenge with out the knowledge of the club to engineer a move thinking barca/real and psg come knocking. got dropped by England, not even kept around the squad like grealish was for a time, so doesn't sound like a dressing room guy. the club are at fault for years of bad transfers by non football people and for the size of the contacts that are given out, and they are paying the price when the players stop wanting it. only way out of this is to clear the deck, reduce the wages and build a new dressing room culture, cant do that with some of the players that have sacked 4 managers. in my opinion rashford also went against the media and the government, which will not of helped him and the way people report about him. January is tough to get right, I can only think of, VVD , Vidic, Suarez, evra being class signings

Ornstein reported that it was the club who initiated him going before that interview he did went out. But that’s what you believe I guess as it’s not totally clear. But I also agree with you that they need to back Amorim and clear the decks if needed!
