We had a blank canvas. Overlaying cardboard onto the grass and putting top soil directly on top is a quick way of creating a wildflower border and to give the garden some structure. This is a quick video of the progress from February to July. Drop a comment to give me some feedback. Thank you,I hope you enjoy the video.

We built the table out of spare wood we had. The 6x2 was a bonus because the delivery for another project sent us bigger lengths than we needed. The video is our way of building something with the bits we had available,And hopefully for anyone thinking of building something similar will give some ideas. The full build took around 4 hours. I would really appreciate comments Thank you.

This succulent plant is great for for roof gardens, as ground cover or in rock gardens . Loves sun and is extremely easy to care for. This is how we propagated it to create more. One of the simplest plants to propagate so is great for beginners also. Bees love the red flowers.

Unfortunately the heat kills the enzymes in the honey so it’s not the best way. Using as little heat as possible in the extraction process is best 😊
I am going to try this the next time I need to extract my honey
I heard this makes the honey taste waxy
@@HurtHomestead the wax solidifies and gets filtered out during the double straining process. Small amounts of wax may get through this, but this will happen with all methods of uncapping. It’s common to use a little heat to pop the cappings on very new/pale comb rather than a knife as it increases the honey yield. You wouldn’t use heat on older, more coloured or darker wax as that may affect the flavour more. We think our honey tastes delicious, but we are of course biased 🍯
So now there's more wax in honey? Not hating, just curious.
@@Endon916 thanks for the comment, the small amounts of wax that come off the frame during spinning will solidify, these will then be filtered out during the double straining process. Beeswax is very edible, and can be sold as comb honey or cut comb when prepared in the right way 🍯😀
Very satisfying :3
