Melvins’ best song in Chicago’s best club.

Me and my daughter were at this show. She's heard them her whole life, but this was her first show. I saw the exact moment where it clicked for her. There was like a thought cloud over her head that said, "OMFG!!! I get it now!!!" during Night Goat and then she disappeared into the crowd towards the stage.

First saw the Melvins in SF 1993. They played a Pink Floyd cover “Dark Side of the moon” at The Kennel Club. First time I heard metal that slow. It was like someone turned the speed down. Where is Dale, the original drummer?

I waited years to get to see them. I loved watching everyone around me, mesmerized by what they were seeing. Speechless. Barely any pit. Just absolute awe and appreciation of what we all witnessed.
