I started Rebirth today. I have put in 14 hours straight, and I have only scratched the surface of the game. There is so much to do so much to explore. This is definitely gonna be one of them special games that comes every few years that just takes you on this journey away from reality.

I have been very happy with the 3S its an amazing VR console for what you pay for but like I said to others if you have got the extra cash get a Quest 3 either way your son is getting an amazing gift from a great parent

@mritty115 Yeah I have learned not to do that now. I keep wanting to dash towards them so I push down on the stick when I simply have to do is just punch. I did the same thing in the other Arkham games and now it's even followed me into to VR lol

@mritty115 RALLY wanted the original music from the Batman animated series intro but my video got blocked in over 250 countries so I had to change it. But thanks I appreciate it

@@Zero-Skillz There are games you can't play on PCVR like Quest 3S or Quest 3 exclusives like Batman Arkham shadow or mixed reality games. To anyone wanting to upgrade from a quest 2 the Quest 3S is a great upgrade for the price. But if you got the Extra cash then get the Quest 3.

@GamingWithShine1 So far, I am loving it. I downloaded the Batman game last night. Haven't viewed it yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I guess that will be a Christmas gift to myself. I also forgot to mention the 3S has slightly better battery life due to the lower resolution, and you can also play in total darkness, which you cannot do on a 3, because the 3S has a pair of infrared blasters that almost work like night vision.

@GamingWithShine1 haha yeah. I actually just got a 3s, my first VR device. It's dope Works awesome. They had the 3 at best buy to test, and I'm like nah, not gonna test it and then wish I had gotten that one instead haha. 3s is great

The 3S has way more in common with the 3 than the 2. The only thing the 3S has in common with the 2 are the lenses. Everything else is basically the meta quest 3 missing the pancake lenses and headphone check. The rest of the internals are the same. You're getting the same processor the same cameras, the same full color pass through. It's a huge upgrade from the 2 and just slightly below the 3. The 3S also has slightly better battery life and infrared blasters, so you can play in full darkness, which the Quest 3 lacks.

Meta quest 3S is an entry level VR headset, for people who have not tried VR before. I got one and love it! I m really grateful that meta priced this unit for an affordable price (or as a certain commenter here put it "for poor people"). In order for VR to become a main stream media, it needs to be adopted by the masses and this price point allows just that. Having tried the headset and also looked at quest TV, I m very excited now for future of VR as it's an amazing experience!

@jay37xo Quest 3 Is better because of the pancakes lenses it offers a better visual experience. BUT! Even though The Quest 3S has the same lenses as the Quest 2 it can still do everything the Quest 3 can do it just doesn't look as good through the frensal lenses but for 299 it's excellent value for money.

The 3S also has infrared blasters that allow you to play in total darkness, which the 3 cannot do. It's almost like having night vision goggles, LOL and it has a slightly better battery life because of the lower resolution.

67 here, and I feel the same way. I got mine 4 days ago, and it is one awesome piece of tech. 😊

Since I have never used a Quest 3 I haven't seen the difference between the two headsets first hand. But if you're going from a quest 2 to a quest 3S, you're good. The lenses is pretty much the same as the Quest 2. The Quest 3S is is like having a Quest 2 but with better graphics and mixed reality features also you are able to play games that you couldn't play on the Quest 2. For the price you pay and what you get in return, it's amazing value for money.

If u can avoid the quest 3 s just a quest 2 with a wig on 😂😂😂
