Does that fit inside the pipe or does it go on the outside of the pipe? I couldn't find a flange that fits inside, but found one that goes around the outside. I'm just wondering if it goes on the outside, will water leak out? Or will the prime/glue create a strong enough seal? Help!

Drives me crazy when "professionals" use channel locks backward. Next time, use a wrench. Oh, and before you do an adjustable wrench has a right way and wrong too.

Side Note dont use Channel locks. If you do don't use them backwards like this wannabe did it will round off the nut.

I have a cold water knob collar made of plastic that just wont come off! soaked it in CLR for a few days... still wont come off. No caulking underneath :( Should I just use my oscillating saw on it?

That Os Not how u replace a flange, terrible video. You cannot glue ABS and PVC together . Stop teaching people the wrong way. Take it apart and do it the correct way

You ever hear of a hammer. And you don't need to heat it

A stainless steel flange ring will press into a plastic flange that has been softened with a heat gun. Heat the flange, and use anchors to bond them together. Set your closet bolts in the flange beforehand because the plastic will conform to the stainless leaving no room for the bolt heads

Nice work. Never thought about using a heat gun for that . Had to laugh about using channel locks as a hammer. Whoever hasn’t done that before hasn’t been around construction much. Thanks for sharing

pvc and brass flanges are opposites. Brass flanges are easy to take off and hard to put on, pvc is hard to take off and easy as hell to put on
