It's funny you mention this because I believe I do use hotkeys in the video I prepared for tomorrow haha I would use them more often but I tend to hold my microphone with one hand while recording so I can't actually press keys and use my mouse simultaneously

That’s exactly what I was looking for. I’m fairly sure it was no longer winnable after I found nothing from the event and nothing from the shop. I would have to rewatch the run but I don’t think it was winnable anymore

Glad to hear that my seeing me play has helped you and congratulations on the achievement. The heart is definitely very rough for the first few turns until you're setup. I've had ended some wins with 1hp myself quite a few times

I find that it typically isn't a good pickup since it neither gives enough block or does enough damage for the 2 energy it costs. There are definitely situations where I will take it and even upgrade it, though I think this run it wasn't necessary

​@@KaisongDIDI I look at the numeric output per cost. 10 damage/block per energy is rather good early on. It's even better when you consider how few good cards you draw in act 1, especially against enemies who add status cards. It full blocks a sentry while also damaging, it blocks nob without boosting his strength, and it's hardly affected by lagavulin's debuffs. Great card early on, would've probably saved you a chunk of health

@@jeepersmcgee3466 I rewatched my own run up until floor 25 just so I could give a better analysis. I still completely believe Dash would have had negligible impact and even been a hindrance on quite a few turns. So, if the question is how helpful it would have been in Act 1, then I would say it wouldn't have done much more than an upgraded defend combined with a 1energy attack. I also didn't have any opportunity to upgrade the Dash so it would have been stuck at 10 damage 10 block. Any health that would have been 'saved' doesn't really matter unless the health lost kills you. Dash falls off pretty heavily even in just Act II but especially Act III and actually starts to have negative impact since you're then stuck with a card that spreads itself thin between blocking and dealing low damage. Would it have been nice to have in some fights, yes, of course. Was it necessary or would it have made this run a win, no. I died to lack of scaling which isn't something that 2energy block for 10 provides

It’s not bad exactly. However, you have to remember that adding a card to a small deck means we have to draw through it multiple times over when we reshuffle our deck. Charged Battery will definitely get outscaled by frost orbs and also would have been very ‘low impact’ in that spot. Plus, it would have made Gremlin Nob more difficult

Without more context I will say that the Ironclad takes A LOT of damage compared to the other three characters. Generally speaking, you either end up with extreme offense and a few sources of strong defense or just break the game through exhaust synergies with Feel no Pain for example

I think most of the items were worth it but I definitely could have made wayyy more if I wasn't playing for Endless in the same run. Some of the items I bought later before wave 20 were definitely not worth buying though

I don't disagree, though I think if you play well it's almost always unnecessary for winning. Even if you don't get crazy curse items the game still depends mostly on skill / game knowledge On the other hand, curse makes it easier to get to the point where you can't lose a run anymore, especially if you find cursed weapons.

I've never tried coop but if the experience is shared I can imagine the Mutant experience gain boost would have been insane this run

Thief Daggers are really fun too but I wanted to play around scaling that would make Turrets work really well with Improved Tools and Percentage based damage like the Giant's Belt and Greek Fire. Mostly because economy-based strategies kind of lose power versus inflation when you get into really late waves. Also, no spoilers but I do have a Thief Dagger video coming out this week too!

You need to reach level 10 before wave 6. You should be able to do that easily on the 'Mutant' character

I thought about adding in certain images like you said and I might be able to starting soon. When it comes to editing the videos I think I sadly wouldn't have enough time to watch through all my recordings to find small places to cut. My compromise is that I try not to waste any time during my runs. I could try adding in images soon though!

Yea, I have 1000 and it still happens. Though I sometimes unconsciously move faster than I should when I'm recording

Also, yeah, you can get more than 1 evo. You can even get all 6 of your weapons to their evo form if you wanted, providing you have the right item combos

I think it's just because I have a really bad mic not because of the settings. I do want to get a new one eventually but not even sure what would be good really.

@@KaisongDIDI Thats why steel series, because with that you can take the electric sound away and stabalize your voices

They shouldn't unless you have negative attack speed with the Improved Tools item. I checked and I never got Improved Tools so my Turrets attack speed is the base value
