Presently known as the 'Galamuduna Temple' due to its location atop a rock top, Galamuduna Temple is situated in the Badulla District's Kahatharuppa region. It is reported that the Arahants had a palace inside the rock and a chamber beneath it where they meditated. You can appreciate the beauty of nature as you gaze down from this temple.
The bus ride from Badulla Town to Pallewaththa is 18 km, which is the distance to Galamuduna Temple.Numerous busses are available. Step off the bus and walk one and a half kilometers. You can go near the temple if you're taking a motorcycle, three-wheeler, or vehicle.
පර්වත මුදුනක පිහිටීම නිසා වර්තමානයේ 'ගලමුදුන විහාරය' ලෙසින් හඳුන්වනු ලබන ගල්මුදුන විහාරස්ථානය බදුල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ කහටරුප්ප ප්‍රදේශයේ පිහිටා ඇත. රහතන් වහන්සේලාට පර්වතය ඇතුළත මාලිගාවක් ද ඊට පහළින් භාවනායෝගීව වැඩ සිටින කුටියක් ද තිබූ බව වාර්තා වේ. මෙම විහාරස්ථානයේ සිට පහළට බලන විට ඔබට ස්වභාව සෞන්දර්යය අගය කළ හැකිය.
