Bert Puppet Demo- "What Is UP"
Here's a demo of a simple puppet/character rig I made in Toon Boom Harmony based on the "Bert" character avatar from the Chipspeech synthesizer, which was also used to create the voice.

Okay explanation time for people who don't know what Chipspeech is: Chipspeech is a synthesizer that reconstructs and emulates pre-1990s speech synthesis. Just putting this on UA-cam because harmony does not like to make files social media-size. I...don't like interacting with UA-cam's interface or userbase, but I ought to start putting my animations/storyboards on here, no matter how rough. Also Starlight is hot garbage but not for the reasons everybody says it is, and sometimes liking bad things is fun.

The IBM 704 vocoder was the first singing computer program and had a pretty big influence in the development of vocaloid, so it's just kinda turned into a Thing
@@rinneilI’m pretty sure 7094 is most likely to be the grandfather tho, considering “daisy” was the prototype name given to miku (I could be wrong tho)

@@sidusuteloshi2086 too much emotion to be 15 ai, probably from the war update! It could also be a recording from something like Comic-con where the voice actor came out to meet with fans - The VA's for Sniper and the Administrator are married, after all, and have shown up at events like those!
