Diatomaceous Earth in the garden as a natural bug control… and other uses
Thank you. I want mine to be browner so I might finish it on the comal. I think I'll press on a nice warm press and then let them puff and brown on a hot comal. Wish me luck! BTW, these are great to make pot stickers too!
Does he know that it extends even further?
I use under the bed storage boxes & keep everything watered from the bottom, saves time, water & frustration. I plan to add a system like this for propagation. Thanks for the video.
You're not supposed to cook with the press
It works great though and it’s just like using our regular cast iron pans!
How much is the liquid detergent?!
Dullard white privelage at its finest, she probably used to eat store bought flour tortillas raw out the package like most of them do...funny how she has youtube but thinks she's the Chris Columbus of mexican cooking, braniac
Hi; Was wondering does your press have rubber feet underneath, I have a 10" cast iron press coming soon, but mine has rubber feet, I wonder if they would burn on the stove?> Thanks good video :)
No ours does not have rubber feet
We just bought one and a 'Keto' tortilla mix but haven't tried it yet. Wish us lotsa luck !!!
Four scores and 7 years ago, our fathers brought forth a new tortilla!
Love, love this.
I Always keep a dull pole saw chain for fine pruning
senora, that is very dangerous in so many ways😮
I’m what ways is it dangerous cooking on cast iron over direct fire? We use cast iron pans the same way.
they mess up my shoulder ligaments
But…
One word; LARD
Did you just put your hands in the chicken poop wher is the 🧤
The only bad thing is : Way to heavy
You may want to create a storyboard to outline what you want to present. To think any viewer wants to spend 28 minutes on a 5 minute presentation is asking way too much. The greenhouse design makes it almost impossible to control heat or humidity. Bye bye.
Well, you did a good job. I guess didn’t to even know how to make a tortilla
Oh your tortillas are not cooked. 30-60 seconds per side cooking.
Don’t cook on the press. Use the plastic ziploc bags cut pe off. Lightly flower the testales before you press. Turn quarter turn and press 4 times. Then transfer to your comal.
You can use round silicone baking mats instead of plastic bags. They are heat resistant, reusable, and washable.
Do you ever have rat problems?
No
Do you guys have coyotes, bobcats or mountain lions there?
We do have coyotes and bobcats and a few mountain lions but don’t have too many problems with them
What would you recommend to use or do to sterilize the cages if they weren’t new and you wanted to make sure no koodies came along with them?
Vinegar
You should use a mask when your are cleaning the coop the dust n diatenacuis is bad for lungs
We do mask up now thank you for the heads up!
Nice! I will have to try this. Thanks for sharing!
Great video u shud b wearing a mask a tip to go with vinegar is a little baking soda to make it a true disinfectant. Nice job.
We do mask up now thank you!
I also read the directions and it seems you are supposed to cook on it... it's cast iron, so why wouldn't you? Right? 👌😊 thank you!! I have glass 🤞
Exactly!
Your gluten has not developed enough, so they shrink.
Good idea. I think I would use the press just to smash the dough then transfer to an additional comal to keep the process going.
Let it cook without the press down
I never thought of cook right on the press. I been using parchment paper then transfer to a pan then cook. I like your way better thank for video.
What’s the temperature for the skittles and how long do you keep them in?
It’s whatever the setting is on the machine ours doesn’t have a candy setting like the new ones.
That is one of coolest chicken coops I’ve ever seen. Very well built. Looks great y’all. 👍🏻
Thanks Nick it was definitely a project!
Nice coop👍
Thanks 👍
Oh that’s so beautiful ❤
Love the use of the old screen door...super cool
That's a Chicken palace. Great job. Great video.
Looking at your ceiling is odd and we cannot see the food…. Why, do you do it that way? Makes me feel that I am hanging upside down… Cannot watch… The best to you.🌮🌮
looking to build one how long are the cables ?
The cables are about 12” long each
Excellent job
😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I live in Az and one way we save water is we have hydroponics. We have trays of water for the bottoms of the plants to sit in, a small fish tank water pump with an adjustable pressure, we run the hose from the pump with misters above the plants. This way the water is recycled with some water loss but not much even with natural evaporation. Also with the sitting and circulation of water when it’s hot it will create humidity in your greenhouse.
Thank you 😊
Young lady you should really wear a mask, keep some in your Ranger. 😊
I do! Just forgot to that time. Thank you!
Thank you for showing this. I too was wondering if my cast iron press could be used this way.
Fantastic! I was thinking wouldn't it be so much easier if you had a press and heating element all in one. I looked at electric roti makers but apparently they're not rigid enough to be good tortilla presses. Putting this on the stovetop makes so much sense. I think if you let it heat longer the lid would probably also get hot and might prevent some of the sticking but you've proven we can use a cast iron press to also cook our tortillas. If you had to make a lot of them probably not idea but for just me and my wife, we only eat a few at a time this is the solution. Thanks for sharing.
I swear I've seen one that's similar but you can flip it without opening, like a waffle iron.
I built a misting system with help from my irrigation company. A fabulous investment. Also a timer helps. Also, beautiful greenhouse.
Thank you we greatly enjoy the greenhouse as well, I hope your system works well for you also!
New subscriber, from Michigan, this was a great video we are trying to find the best way to do our own also. I'm so glad I found your channel. Thank you for sharing. Till next time God Bless.
I’m glad you found this helpful!
