    Did the mounting position right on the chines cause any issues? This is exactly where everyone says not to mount a transducer.

    • @STEVEHADDOCK
      @STEVEHADDOCK Місяць тому

      It's actually mounted below the chine and not on it. I used the exact same mounting holes as the factory installed transducer and it has been working great.

    Great video. Thanks. I am wondering if the original transducer cable had a connector somewhere in the middle that was disconnected so that you could attach/tape it to the new cable and pull through the plastic side cowling or if you had to cut the old cable so it would pull through? Also, could you run the power cable with fuse directly to your starter battery versus getting power from the fuse panel or is the power cable not long enough for that option

    • @STEVEHADDOCK
      @STEVEHADDOCK 2 місяці тому

      The original transducer cable was a continuous cable and did not have a break in it. I actually taped the new cable end to the side of the old cable when I pulled it through.Then I untapped it and pulled the old cable out. I honestly don't recall exactly how long the power wires were from the factory. I'm sure you could splice more wire on if you needed it to run back to the battery.

    • @klink370
      @klink370 2 місяці тому

    Got the speakers and new hole saw to do this, wanted to make sure the channel on the passenger side is able to have the wire run up to the rod box, across the middle storage and into the rod box on driver side and then into the steering console.. if not can you please explain the routing you used for passenger side wire? Thanks for being the tester, makes me nervous drilling these big holes...

    • @STEVEHADDOCK
      @STEVEHADDOCK 2 місяці тому

      That’s where they run. I pushed a hole through the foam up towards the front and to the gunnel. Then I went down and through both rod lockers and the cooler. I did pop the top off the cooler, just a few screws. I’ll see if I can do a quick diagram this weekend sometime and post it.

      I got the holes in, no problem on the passenger side. One last question, when you cut your hole on the driver side through that removable panel, did you have to also cut a hole in the sidewall behind it? Or where your speakers narrow enough to fit without doing that?

    • @STEVEHADDOCK

    I have noticed my Terrova has something yours does not. And I cannot even see it on the parts schematics..... between the connecting collar for the lift assist and the steering box there is a plastic sleeve that is on the shaft and around the metal strip for the lift assist. I find it odd, I cannot find it on anyone elses videos, I have looked at the bottom of the steering box and it is not from there. Maybe just a part they decided they no longer need to put on the Terrova's?

    Hi Steve, I just 'stumbled' on your vid and it looks good. I live in Europe and have the same (2020) truck and a truck camper on it now and than. There are only around 7 superduties (Tremors usually) in my country. People actually stop and stare if you drive by. I am looking for a small lift but thought the Tremor is already leveled at the front (around 1 - 2 inches, 'not sure) and the rear is stock. Does this kit lift both front and rear of the Tremor as well? So front and rear are (in your case 1,5 inch higher than strock although it is already leveled? Please let me know because there are no companies that know about this here and there is no official import. I hope the lift will be ok with a truck camper (Lance 825). I also saw your Bilstein shock vid and doews the rig drive well with these mounted? Sorry for my English, it's not my daily language of course. Thanks for your help!

    • @STEVEHADDOCK
      @STEVEHADDOCK 4 місяці тому

      I do like the Bilstein shocks, they ride very well. My tremor is lifted from the factory about 2” front and rear. They use a larger spring on the front and actually use the f-350 rear end to set it up higher. The kit I installed only lifts the front another 1 1/2” to help level the front end to the rear. I would assume if you have a camper on yours full time then you might already be level. Have you measured the front height versus the rear height?
