wish i could've been there! i have thought of travelling deep into the jungles of africa (central african republic, congo, gabon) to find a group living remotely that has not been forced into assimilation or slavery, as some have. but how convenient to have them come to you!

Hallo, Ich übe Kargyraa seit ungefähr 3 Wochen und ich kriege mittlerweile den allgemeinen Sound hin. Nun frage ich mich wie es dir gelingt die erste Technik so tief zu singen. Sind die ersten zwei beide Kargyraa? Von der Höhe ist ja schon ein starker Unterschied zu hören :D Muss man für deine erste Technik eine tiefe Stimme haben oder wird das einfach so tief wegen der Subharmonischen?

As you'll see from a glance at my channel, I have a pretty extreme fascination with low bass voices, so of course I also enjoy atypical registers--especially when they get down to contra E. It's quite nice to see kargyraa used in a different setting, and especially down low like that. My kargyraa is decent, but I don't have nearly the flexibility that you fellows have, so this has inspired me to practice a bit more. Subscribed and looking to forward to hearing more!

You guys inspired me in a way, I can tell theres no sign of getting wasted, unlike our band where that is customary. And I love this indian-ish sort of sound and rhythmic ideas. Keep experimenting.

@synapse349 I can do actual kargyraa, but it´s true, what I do in the video is really more a vocal fry technique. I will change the tag. Anyway, I did not post it as a demonstration of my skills, but as a "Grrowl". The nasty comments, I thought they were entertaining...

Well, that's not terribly good. Sounds like it could hurt you. Can you do actual Kargyraa or just that vocal fry? I saw your other videos and your overtone singing is good... At least you can play guitar while singing, I cannot... How come you never removed the nasty comments?
