Great information! I couldn't agree more! love the soul of the carburetor fed engine and mechanical instruments. I am a bit unclear and curious about how many miles are expected out of a inline 4 sport bike engine... I went for the bigger size and older engine because it only revs to 11.5k RPM and I think it may last longer than the 600s.. I'm almost at 30,000 miles it runs great shifts great, it does sound a bit mechanical with some clicking whisking noises and also knocks a bit for about 1 minute during startup. I hope I can hang on to this for many years to come. Any thought on expected mileage or tips, since you've have 2 of these?

Lovely bike, I'm on my second one now, I'm in the UK and low mileage clean bikes like yours are starting to creep up in value now, the last of the proper superbikes before things went all rider aids electronic digital crap etc, carburettor fed engines with a bit of soul about them, just enjoy it for what it is, oh and let your mates know that is was the first standard production bike out of the crate to hit a sub 10 second standing 1/4 mile, that looks looks like a yoshi full system on it too, make sure the carbs we're set up properly properly for it as they tend to run lean as standard.

These brakes are great, they are more expensive that hydros and feel the same. Check out Hayes brakes online

I remember doing that when i had to live in my car for a whole year! I rented a small storage unit to keep supplies since my car was too small to keep anything in it. I went to a local church and volunteered to deliver meals to families once a week and got gas vouchers and negotiated a space to park behind the church that had an armed security guard and cameras so I felt pretty safe to pass out, being🥴 by my self
