These kicks are nice. I have two pair… one is for skating and the others are just for wearing. The canvas material is actually pretty good and when you break them in with a little water and sun then they become the perfect skate shoe. You don’t need no crease guard for these shoes. Canvas will not mess up. I skate a pair and work in them and they do not crease. It’s a skateboarding shoes so they won’t mess up easy. At least mine didn’t
