@@BakiNBG You're both idiots. Teflon isn't dangerous unless you ingest it in large amounts and hundreds of race car drivers would like to disagree about not surviving that. Remember, you're most likely going to also have a nomex hood and gloves.

No it's partly true. The cotton guy would die but the nomex guy might live if he had full protection like military flight helmet on maybe only receiving 3rd and 2nd degree burns on certain spots. Maybe would have enough time to bail a burning car or plane without continuing to burn after leaving the fire zone. The nomex like the cotton also won't stick to the victim.

It's supposed to be stress test. Most products are usually tested beyond reasonable use to test its durability. This is because they want to be able to test it as quickly as possible if they can.

@@thearmyguy1232 yes, my friend survive when the plant he work explode, no burn on his nomex, but he survive and got 2@3 degree burn i forgot.. if you work on oil and gas plant normally the frc(fire retardant coverall) or nomex is a must, if you does not wear it you can’t work inside the plant..
