This man has a death wish. You should never get under a car with it being in neutral already. No need to push the car to the bed, you put the bed to the wheels first. Then you hook up your J hooks then you put a lil tension on the line while car is hooked. Then you put the vehicle in neutral that way the car can't roll on you if its already hooked with a lil tension. This is the correct way.

What kind of license do I need to operate the same tow truck as yours

The control arm are the best spot to hook the anchor or with a smaller hook in those small holes also in the control arm but you just need to be careful of those chains scraping up the bumper or bending it, but overall cool video!

Ball joint block aka control arm skate is a better option.

Why didn't you straighten the car before loading if you crisscross your rear chains you wouldn't have a loose chain and let me guess you took off your safety chains up front before starting the video instead

The 10 and 2 method works for me and on yours i would use the driver side method not the passenger side but not that low get some velcro to tie up the strap instead of wrapping it up much easier and the distances between the bed and the car your body should fit and it would be alot easier to lift the wheel lift up to put the chains on by doing it from the front than to go under the car plus it's good to have more chain than less just in case you have to make a sharp turn grab a bungee cord throw over wheel lift hook each chain to each bungee hooks in the middle there's alot of ways to put safety chains your way short the 1mentioned or crisscrossed and under putting tow lights on dont drop them put down at a angle slowly

A pair of jack stands might help and you do know that using that ball hitch is not the safest winch point yeah i know your gonna say got it done yeah but the point is safety first

The green ones work better than the orange ones if you had a second skate you could've turned it upside down and used it as a ramp for the firt skate to go over that lip and a little wd40 will take away the friction from the tire and bed sliding is better than dragging just saying

Good tutorial, the heavier vehicle is on the bed and the lighter vehicle is on the wheel lift. I’m glad to see somebody other than me still uses safety chains. That blue tow light blends in so well with the color of the Chevy, you really have to remember it’s back there! The only thing I’d say is, from the video, the wheel lift looks a little high and in a little too far but it’s hard to tell from a video. I always put the bottom of the tires that are being lifted parallel with the centerline of the wheels that are on the ground

You’re better off using straps in the front on the wheels or a strap that has a cluster on it and use it where you put the safety chains. Although they’re called “safety chains” and you’re using them for their purpose, you’re still using the winch line as a tie down which shouldn’t be done. Using the adjustable straps in the front, you can loosen the winch cable and still keep the chains in the back tight.
