I hope one day he give you that is due to you
Bwoy meh always wonder bout natural
Wow!! If that story is indeed accurate, then it's sad to see a good artist like him just fall by the way side like that, be careful of the choices that you make in life, lesson well learnt
Gratitude is a must, and those who contribute to your develepment should be acknowledge and respected. It was because you Roger I know of Natural Black. History has recorded the truth you have spoken.
Like your story cuz Long time i don't see or hear from you im going to subscribe to your channel bless up

Remember u don't own no one and remember everyone is somebody
20 20?.natural black whose a big star already
He messed up the dates, songs with feelings was around 2001.
He was right to cut his locks and leave RasTafari since he had a ungrateful spirit. After you helped him get legal status to even work. he cannot even mention your name ? Crazy.
His contact was up so wa yuh want the Artist to do look how much Artist move on .. ask Sheng yeng...
@@NaturalBlackOffical My issue is not about changing managers. That is perfectly normal. My issue is that according to the narrator of the video Natural Black has not given him his credit for the help he gave him.
@thenowchurch6419 Here's Hammond, Freddie McGregor, Gordon Lee and Yasus Afari voice Natural before me and never invest or promote him but he mentions these people in interviews. Next thing he publicly breach the contract two years before it was up trying to be in 5th Element and Kevin Jackson from Jamaica Observor exposed the dirt and 5th Element rejected him. Natural had no respect for my investment in time and money. Don't get me started there is lot more things to say.
@@NaturalBlackOffical stop lying you was trying to go over to 5th Element two years before the contract expired.
What were you trying to achieve from this video?
He is showing how ungrateful these artists are.
@millrock78 oh, ok. We wouldn't have known this otherwise. Thanks for the information. I take it artist are the only ones that will make a decision that will benefit them and their families best 👌
He denounce rasta because he wasn't making enough money With a voice like his rasta music was the perfect fit
A lot of people saying this and saying that because they don’t know how people in the music industry operate, but I can tell every body reggae/dancehall is the most toxic and corrupt organization in the world. Worst than government and police, and I say that without any apology!! Some of the most ungrateful people on earth are DJs ,singers, producers, and managers and that’s most of the people in the industry. Believe!!!! People do the research and you guys will see. I’m out!!!
You are right. You need to put everything in writing
I didn't grasp the purpose of this video. People change with time. All this for a big up? If you know what you did then that is all that is needed, no? Getting the recognition how would that help anything as you're both unknowns basically but this video is getting traction so kudos to you.
As they say, there are three sides to a story. Your side, their side and the truth...
John Holt is my favourite artists of all time in a unusual twist in music from acid house to reggae in 1990 and just to say I remember John saying that when Blondie reach number one all over the world it took about 10 years to get any royalties but with UB40 they paid John Holt right away with their covers songs from John where you to the ball and sick by me so respect to UB40 and no respect to Blondie....💯🇬🇧👍
Moral of the story is” never ever be ungrateful
Success has many owners failure has none
Nice quote
So why you had to mention the man foot white and dusty you know how much Jamaican artists foot was white and dusty entering the industry and now some of those artists on top
For real! Everybody got to start from somewhere.
Who a bbc blacks a build reggae and dancehall
And he 👀 see hardships on the youth.
You were never any good for the artiste, if you never mentioned your name, I'd never knew who you were, all the other people mentioned I know, leggo yuh bad feelings
If Neva the man how him woulda buss inna music
@UTG-uptown Natural Black buss before that man claims, if you don't let me tell you 😤, all he did was give him some more he also went away and left the artiste on his own, how will he survive when the manager was away for all those years
@@kingshango1569 dat him do the artist fuckery gwan blacks a good artist one thing mi Neva like when him trim him locs him lose his powers but can’t deny him talented
Rasta always downplay the role of intelligence. Without the man's insight Natural blacks wouldn't even be in Jamaica, no reggae artiste I know lives in guyana. I think there's two side to the story as I once knew Natural blacks from Trench Town back in the day and he was a notable character. However Roger's work was instrumental to Natural Blacks career and his insight/intelligence benefited the artiste greatly.
@objectiveviewer3844 Jamaicans likes to think they can control reggae and dancehall music. They were robbed for decades and still continue to be robbed. It doesn't matter where you live or were born, music alone shall live on, Gentleman sells big venues, and he's not jamaican, so does lots of different non Jamaicans, leggo of that mindset and remember that some of the biggest shows are outside of Jamaica
Correction: The label was launched in 2000 not 2020.
👉🇯🇲🇨🇦 He was a pretender from the start , why are you portraying yourself as a Rasta to make it in the music industry , then burn fire on Rasta Lol😂 Typical Guyanese .
Yow am a Jamaican, a lot of so-called rastas are rascals, fox under lox!!!
How many people pretend to bo straight in order to make it when they are batty people
Nyam pussi rasta boy dat
@italscientist4858, I am not hear to judge, but there are many BIG RASTAS who are artists, sing about Rastafari and do NOT live or walk in the way of righteousness or naturalness! They EXPLOIT RASTA for financial gain and many show signs of VIOLENCE and BETRAYAL.... Not saying Natural Black was perfect; NO one is ...but he went through a LOT of BETRAYAL from Rastamen and from word on the street, threatened with physical and emotional violence, from some of his own so called " brethren. " Therefore, it is understandable that he CUT ✂️ his hair, distant himself from 🇯🇲 Jamaica; That does not stop his NATURAL BORN talent! He is not d first and last artists to make drastic change in life. There is mystery surrounding d death of his baby mother who bare him five children ( she died in Guyana ), which I am still trying to figure out .... Whatever happened, if you lose a woman who bare you children❤ to death■, you will NEVER BE D SAME.... Listening to this audio, I believe that millions of artists CHANGE managers ... why● you took d TIME to DISS D MAN ?? HE OWES YOU NOTHING for life■. Change is natural.
Yo what d fuck you know about Guyanese, that you using that pharse typical Guyanese. If Natural n that guy have any issues that's the two of them who have to deal with that not Guyana. Also a story have two sides. I will love to hear Natural response to this. On behalf of we the Guyanese your statement doesn't set right with us.
I remember this story just like yesterday..There is a lot of things not said....Heart Dirty like Dirt Heap..
No matter what they do the gae thing will never work in Jamaica, the prayers to the the Most High God will deliver them
Calton Coffie WAS THE BEST!!!
Is he better than Jacob Miller???
@@elenaofavalormoanadisneypr6893 Jacob Miller was irreplaceable, no doubt! His voice and impact on reggae were monumental. But for me, Calton Coffie's voice brought a unique energy, especially with hits like Sweat, Bad Boys and Games People Play. They both brought something special to Inner Circle in their own eras. It's hard to compare legends, but Coffie just resonates with me more.
I saw Carlton in a concert in Brazil in the early 2000s. He sang all the famous hits, like Sweat, Games People Play, Black Roses, Bad Boys, Summer Jamming… it was a great and memorable night! RIP one of the most iconic voices of Reggae Music.
So hes in Prison now?
It it true that the "rainbow" community has taken a hold on the female dancehall artists. In some of Shenseea's songs she talks about experimenting sexually with women. These are what our young girls are growing up listening to
Carlton Coffie made Inner circle in my opinion. Its sad that the band behaved that way. Carlton Coffie one of Reggae's Greatest ..... Walk Good!
If you place all men on a island life will die out. If you place all women on a island life will die out. Without science God AMEN JAH RASTAFARI created All things Naturally, that which is a Artificially created or unnaturally is a Abomination unto the Creator. If a dog grows up thinking it's a duck and behaving like a duck is it a duck? Enoch teaches us that this is the plan of the fallen ones to blashemy RASTAFARI. Rasta is Natural. Nature is Natural. RASTA IS THE PERFECT BALANCE OF CREATION
Ice Cube son played him in NWA ?
Damien
No evidence, just evidence of jealousy against Jamaican Chinese.. True ting dat!
wowfuck
Whats the sir name of shenseea?

Lee
Him a fool
Kingsley had to lose 40lbs for the movie, which made him have night sweats from dropping so much weight in a short period; it also made him feel light-headed and dizzy on set. He had to hire a football (soccer) coach to teach him how to play like Bob. He had to learn how to play the guitar, and he did this while he was still filming on set with the Barbie movie, so he was already starting to work toward the Bob Marley movie when he didn't even finish playing Basketball Ken on the Barbie movie. He had to spent long periods of time with Bob's family to get to know them. He had about 9 voice coaches on set to learn the Jamaican language Patois. Cedella gave him videos of Bob that he had to watch for 9 months and learn Bob's movements, gestures, vulnerabilities, and how he reacts to people and the environment around him. He went to Trench Town to speak to Bob's childhood friends; he then went on several shows to promote the film and speak so HIGHLY of the Jamicain people and Bob himself. he was fully committed and invested. I totally understand why Jamaica would feel that the main character should have been Jamaica. I get it. They have every right to feel that way. This is THEIR star FIRST. However, let's also give Kindgely his stardom for his commitment. I don't care if people think he wasn't that great (I thought he was). BUT let's give him his stardom for his level of commitment AND his reverence for Bob Marley.
Jah cure music saved my life. When I was in a dark dark place in my life. I can't judge him. I just pray for him because Jah had his reasons why he chose Jah cure to touch other. He was sincere in his heart for Jah at one point. So Jah used him. Now that he is in prison. I pray for him still. It's just Jah working on him.
Our lives are determined by choices. He has made some bad ones.
respect
At least this wasn't another supposedly black, but actually lesbian-promoting movie. God knows enough of those have came and flopped.
The movie did it’s job. It got a new generation of people interested in Bob Marley. So that’s a great thing. Zig and Rita had more control and say so over the movie so we have to respect what they gave us. Of course Rita wouldn’t want to showcase her husbands affairs . Yeah it was a clean saturated version of Bob we all know that but it still accomplished it’s goals .
Thanks for your comments. Show the man flaws and all his humanity his great life came with everything included.
It wasn’t a real Biopic. More of a documentary pic
Bob Marley was far more important than this hodge podge, glossed over Hollywood version. You said it right.
So glad the movie made it to #1 Great movie!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brother you hit the nail on the head, I knew the movie was going to be exactly like this just from the preview and when I watched it, it couldn't keep my attention, I knew this was going to be exactly like will Smiths (Ali) A movie about a legend that doesn't show you anything, I gave it a so-so 5 out of 10
You are so right, the movie was about Bob and Rita and Ziggy Marley's emotions
