A 6 feet person can easily sit for 2-3 hrs in 3rd row 2nd row has good comfort & reclinerable Safari looks are more attractive but by power wise always XUV 700 & choti isilie because this is on monochoque chasis not ladder on frame But the main thing is Safari only comes in diesel with FWD not with AWD & its petrol version

Safari's steering is not as smooth as xuv700... It's best steering in xuv700.. ..also if driver height 6ft then knee touches the dashboard in safari n harrier, it's uncomfortable in safari, but xuv700 there is no issue​@@sanyamjain8512

In June, i drove xuv 700 and safari facelift for 3,000 kilometers both from Lucknow to Manali(automatic). It is my take away, 18,00 km safari, 1200 km xuv 700 approx. 1: Safari suspension is amazing, it smoothly glides over bad patches 2: Safari gearbox is better, and feels less jerking while shifting. 3: safari has better road presence, xuv is also beautiful, but safari has an edge. 4: Third row is practical in safari. XUV 700….. 1: Engine is just rocket, very refined, feels like driving BMW. 2: The car is more spacious despite the fact that middle row can slide in safari. 3: Cabin feels more luxurious. 4: Easy to drive vehicle for thousands of kilometers, no tiredness. 5: Zero software glitches encountered during trip. 6: Under thigh support is better in xuv. 7: Adas is very accurate in xuv 700. Xuv cons: 1: suspension is not up to the mark 2: Third row is horrible 3: Look is subjective, but i like safari more. Note: Safari owners would say safari, and xuv owners would say XUV, but i don’t own either one, so i gave my unbiased opinion. In my 21 years driving experience, never drove a car like xuv 700, you may not like my comment, bht It is hard to believe that this car was made by Mahindra. ( My suggestion xuv 700).

@@manjit_singhh Hii Manjit....Its very vast question to answer. Diesel mileage is definitely good . Now it depends on ur usage. if u r planning to use it for 10k kms in a year and plus u will have highway driving u can go for diesel. My running is not very high ....in a year I did only 6700 kms so my basic requirement was petrol. Also in BS6.2 u need to have some nice highway running to avoid DPF issues is what I heard....not sure though u can check team bhp blogs for any doubts. I really didn't explore the diesel option so cannot guide u anymore. Petrol engine performance is next level and will bring u a smile but if mileage is a concern even slightest better stay away from petrol.

Front ventilated steats There are more small small differences. It is 2.20L extra on road which I think is worth it. But overall AX7 is also VFM.

@@aniketrt3327 Even AX7 Diesel Manual has Adaptive Cruise Control. I own it and it works for me. New AX5 has Cruise Control with ADAS.
