George Williams, my grandpa, lived on that street straight across from Dollar general. Sent is, as kids, down the hill to buy chewin backer at the IGA. Always a treat to head down that ramp to the toys section. So many memories right where standing! Hair cuts across the rd, bikes in the church parking lot, and grandpa hanging out on a bench, whittling with the older folk.

Rose Hill. A place where you'll see some things, but probably nothing you wanted to see.😂 When I was a kid the only places I ever went were school and church. Going to Rose Hill to the grocery store was something genuinely exciting. Especially Grabeel"s because it was also a general store that had balsa planes and yo-yos and bubble wands . I can remember going in there with my granny and going back home over Crocket"s ridge. There may not be much to do there but the scenery is fantastic and it's fun getting lost on the back roads.
