@@brianmorrison9168 well 221 super voyager are nice so I say yeah travel with them one thing as long it’s not on a busy service. One thingI don’t recommend is the class 170 turbo which you get it from Cardiff to new street. But except for the class 170 problem the 221 from new street to Newcastle is good class 221/220 are very good just as long you don’t travel on a busy day.

@@elijah_trains Thanks for the great reply. Certainly a good tip .. don't pick a busy day .. trouble is, I'm not sure which are the busy days. probably for us .. Saturday afternoon NCL-CDF, Monday lunchtime CDF-BHM, Wednesday late afternoon BHM-NCL. I think I'll book our hotels, then I'll have to travel 😁😁 Regards from Whitley Bay

@@elijah_trains no worries 😎👍🏽 Sadly, the APT project was scrapped by Margaret Thatcher’s Government in 1984/85 who refused to put anymore money into the project, which had already been running since the early 1970’s. The saddest part was it just needed a bit more time and investment to iron out a few technical issues and it would have been ready for a production fleet of APT’s. The APT concept was a completely brand new design for British Rail, unlike anything they had built or designed before it, so it took a lot of time and money after the APT-E (Experimental version in the 1970’s) to create a small fleet of prototypes - the APT-P - one of which you rightly mentioned now sits at Crewe heritage centre as a static exhibit/display 🙂👍🏽

@@elijah_trains yes I’d have loved to see the production APT in full service 🙂👍🏽 I did see it when it was being tested at London Euston and Stafford in 1984 and the prototype APT’s did do some passenger carrying runs between London Euston and Glasgow (I think the APT still holds the fastest journey time Northbound between London Euston and Glasgow?) sadly, they never entered full service and the tilting technology was sold off to Italy who developed it further and ended up selling us back the technology for the end product…the Pendolino

Nah i only reviews like this because my audio wasn’t working for most of the trip so i had to blast music and I’ve seen worse reviews and go check my other reviews as this is my worse performance I’ve ever done

What was bad about it?

Wym it’s the “worse train review I ever seen” I’ve seen worser where people doesn’t actually explain anything or explore the station in context he also said in The video the audio is very bad but he actually explain. Everything about the class 800 and what’s good about it and whats not. Also go check his other reviews if your going to say “your talent is somewhere else” he actually explains the train into bit more context

Yeah i agree with you and gcr is so underrated i kinda forgotten about it ill do a comparison on scr gcr and British railway in a future video. And yeah scr is easy to understand when comes to driving British railway is a lot more harder but find it more funner

I can see what you mean but wouldn’t say the “same level” have you even seen the bits and things on the out side of the train we are looking at near enough train simulator design the design on br 800 is on a different level compared to scr and also the mesh part I understand the class. 397 but definitely not the 800 and so on. They are not in the same league

I don't understand scr is network simulation and br is railway simulation

@@millercool21 lemme give you an example on how you can compare them 1) train model on realistic sounds model interior etc 2) scenery wise track model and more you can easily compare them And also same with train sim classics it only focuses on train models and more of the realism while train sim world is about more of the real world on collecting people to locations and so forth

@@elijah_trains scr doesn't focus on realism for it's trains because there's other roles like signalling guarding dispatching are in there main priority where as BR is entirely focused on trains not dispatching or signalling
